the gt230m is the best bet.knowing sony laptops mine runs a lot cooler and i have managed to overclock it quite a bit.so get the gt230m and overclock it to 240m speeds and you have a very capable gpu and it also has opencl,physx,cuda,directcompute support

i am using catalyst 9.11(modded).when i run cyberlink media espresso there is no option for turning ati stream on.are all the ati gpus stream enabled...

i tried installing the avivo video convertor on my laptop(using catalyst 9.11 modded).but the catalyst install manager doesnt install avivo video convertor package.so i guess they only support desktop cards,is it so

hey guys i have a used p4 computer of my father.the p4 is clocked at 3.8ghz(the highest clocked pentium 4 of its time) and overclocked to 4.2ghz stable.the graphics is ati radeon 3850 agp.ram is 2gb and os winxp.i was wondering if it can play the games on my laptop(in my sig) or is it worthwhile to sell it for a meagre price.

the gt220 is not any better in gaming.keep your ati card for the time being and upgrade when you have more money

please dont get a asus laptop atleast not the recent models.it may seem to have a better configuration but the cooling is worst.hell the gpu is reaching 105C under load.buy sager or clevo or alienware m15x
