go with the sony vaio man.i have one(in my sig).they have great built quality and excellent screen.and what the hell do you need 8 gigs of ram for in otherwise such a weak hp laptop. the vaio is very much balanced.in notebooks core 2 duo beats any amd offering(see notebookcheck.net).the hp laptop's 4200 is not a discrete graphic ,it is an integrated graphic card.but the 4570 is a dedicated card.

the extra 3mb of l2 cache may not be worth it. but the 1333mhz fsb on e8400 is definetely worth it.

i run call of juarez, bound in blood maxed out at 1600.900.for full hd i need to turn down a few settings.anyway the 1600.900 res also looks pretty good.resident evil 5 can run at full hd at medim without lag.borderland at full hd with medium settings.street fighter 4 at full hd at high.i got a big boost from the overclocking though. crysis warhead only runs at 1280.720 and medium-high settings smoothly, which is from 25-30fps.by the way my display has an excellent adaptation for lower resolutions so the difference is not so significant between full hd and 1600.900 res.

the gt230m has more overclocking headroom than 4570 which is already operating at its max.and the gt230m is way ahead than 4570,there is no doubt about it.the 4570 has only a 64bit bus which is not at all suitable for gaming.the gt230m is also based on nvidia's latest g216 core and note that the gt280m which is the high end mobility gpu still has the g92core
