instead of giving reasons why consumers should put up with a higher price and a mandatory camera they actually keep telling us reasons why this console should have actually been much cheaper.
ad supported products bring the incentive of paying a lower price for them. e.g. kindle with ads is cheaper vs kindle with no ads. having established a consumer base with the 360, they are now exploiting it to the extreme. thankfully they are not the only player in the market.
even if we assume that sony had an intention to block used games, I still give them credit for listening to people and not turning a blind eye to the reaction of gamers.
Microsoft had more than one chance to listen and change. after their reveal event there was a huge reaction but they did nothing and still remained with those draconian policies at E3. it took a few days after pre-order data came in for them to change their minds.
