@Rixxamus Hey at least Test Drive tried to do something new and interesting with the genre, and could have really been something if Atari hadn't tried to produce it on a $10 budget. Codemasters isn't even trying anymore either - I mean, for everyone who loved the original GRID. Guess what? That game still exists, you don't actually have to buy this glorified DLC to play it.
@InGaTe_04 @plaintomato Bought it for 360. Moved to Playstation for Demon's Souls. Then went to PC when PTD Edition released. Stuck with PC but have bought it for gifts several times. lol...not all six were for me.
@fredyellowone This. Forza Horizon tried to understand the concept and only succeeded in proving they could not grasp it. Please somebody save the day.
@NeoDemonChilde I blame Atari. If Eden had been backed to develop a AAA racer based on their TDU1 ideas, instead of a low budget focus group product, TDU2 could have been one of the greatest racers ever. Atari has no vision.
I guess, but with DSfix it's better than PS3 for me, no Blighttown jitters, skip-able splash screens. What was the problem other than what DSfix fixed? Summoning/Invading sucks on every version, but now DSCfix is making the PC version the best version for summoning too.
Maybe it's not From's fault that the PC port is good, but it is good.
@Jd234 actually, it's story has more depth than most RPGs. it just takes actual effort to root it out, just like the rest of the game. if you want a story spoon fed to you, read a book.
Dark Souls presented a world that told an incredible story you had to find. Maybe you just wish the story presentation was more like in real life, where everyone in town is just hanging around waiting to talk to you and explain your life to you because you can't figure it out yourself.
