Most exclusives will be kinect kiddie games, timed dlc, or xbox live arcade. The budget of games costs are too much and next gen games will cost even more so that it isn't financially practical to only sell on one platform.
D'OH! Don't worry fanboys, Nintendo has about 2 years to change things around if they can push out Mario 64 HD, Zelda HD, Donkey Kong Country HD, etc. quick enough. Only then will the sales of their system increase enough where third party developers just might notice. Right now, it doesn't make much sense from a business perspective to port to the Wii U.
Awesome.....only if it's a legitimate port where they take advantage of the pc's hardware. I want full mouse support, hi-res texture, dx11, tessellation, physics, more A.I., etc.
What makes a game look next gen will probably be textures. There's very little discernable differences that can be seen when moving from something with 40,000 polygons vs. 80,000. Meanwhile, a lot of pc modders can make old games look fresh and new with hi-res textures, just like Doom 3 or Half-life 2. Tessellation also gets rid of blocky characters and environments. Other effects like particle, physics, dynamic lighting, and more A.I. is the icing on the cake.
