I believe, if it's done well enough to be choice consequential, like Alpha Protocol's attempt, there will always be appreciation for heart pounding climaxes helped by preemptive emergence that can playout differently. You just need very intelligent systemics for a story. The moment story based games are gone, consoles have lost the plot from whats in arcades.

@00Sypher This is why I don't see the point of contributing to xbox live Gold when all along, it's aim is for a constrained form. Not only will I not buy the next xbox if this happens, but until I see MS changing their approach, i'm not even buying any content on xbox live as it's funding the backbone for Always-on to, in effect, pimp us.

@XDark_PhoenixX If true, I think there'll be less competitive marketable single player games from publishers in favor for more competitive fast tracked forms once they have control of online if we don't make a stand against any would be attempt to box us in online. The future is what we make it to be.

With due respect to it's origin, I side with a reason to use and be challenged in a world as realistic as possible, but the super hero theme, for me, is ruining it's gangster tones that's integral to Saint Row. Happy with SR3.

For Adam Orth to officially lose his job, I can only assume that MS could be digressing from the idea though it's sensible to wait for MS's May announcement with these now ridiculous conflicting rumors. Always-on and no used games= Deal breaker.

@Prime_28 Yeah, if they released it on PS4, with no BC in mind, it would be less counterproductive to current PS3 sales. The wait is probably justified on Ps4 for an awesome come back given development demands.
