They're good, but they've lost some of the magic the original had!

Just about a year ago I discovered Lucasarts Adventures, and boy was I for a ride!

I was quite young when these came out, but i'm making a long shot; does anyone (prefs in Australia) want to sell DoTT?

Also add you comments about this or other Lucasarts games

I was young when the best adventure games of all time, like Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle, came out.

Now I have Sam and Max, Grim Fandango and Monkey Island 3 in the new lucasarts classics line (only some have been released in Australia)

I'm looking for a talkie of Day of the Tentacle. I have given up ooking for any other Monkey Islands-they're too hard to find

Your thoughts or any ideas would be appreciated

Why is it "bad" (according to some people). To be honest, Ilike games that are not serious.

So, should I get it?

Baldur's Gate (get both 1&2)

Fallout 1&2 (Teen?)

Neverwinter Nights

Freedom Force (sorta RPG)

Well, Aussies can still find a good bargain internationally-on the rare occasion

Now that I look back I can see it all-us riding on the mining boom- at nearly 95 US cents and then boom.

Sub-prime kills it and now we're down to 60 US cents

Like most blizzard games, wc3 and starcraft are number crunchers - get the build orders, counters and numbers into your head you are fine. Not too complex a game either of them.

Age of empires of the other hand required alot more effeort to pull a good battleplan together.

Exactly. I foud AoM easier to play (i.e. to get into,not game difficulty)
