[QUOTE="psyched0ut"]I have loved the games from day one, but now that Harmonix has split up from the Guitar heroes and there are two successful franchises with MANY copies coming soon, I'm getting sick of all the peripherals and the high prices. I currently have all GH's 1,2, Rock the 80s and 3, (not aerosmith, bleehhhh), and rock band. I have 1 Gibson SG, 1 wii les paul, 1 fender for ps3, 1 drum set and 1 mic. For GH4 and Rock Band 2, I'll have 4/5 guitars, 2/3 drumsets and 2/3 mics. My Rock Band instruments have started to fade in quality thanks to my brothers friends. Unless RB2 and GH4 have stellar soundtracks and very reliable software, I probably won't be picking them up. (Yes I am aware that you can buy them with just the game, but I dont trust my current peripherals to last, or the compatability). But the games are still fun, ESPECIALLY in a party setting. They should make some sort of trade-in program for the original instruments so that I can afford the new ones, that would convince me to buy the new games.LP4EVA2005

Arrested Development, the greatest show to ever grace the earth. You can watch it free and legally streaming @ hulu.com
The movie was just announced as well.
Back on topic, My first post sounded a little too critical, I love the games (except for the ones that are clearly milking it *COUGHCOUGH AEROSMITH AND METALLICA COUGHCOUGH*. Harmonix is now making the better game, but with worse peripherals because of lack of Red Octane. Activision/Nerversoft bought something great and ruined it by adding their poor humor and clear lack of care for the presentation of the game (the wii version. and by poor humor, I mean the intro screen where the amp goes to 11 but has a 12 taped over it. Not funny.)
