[QUOTE="pundog"][QUOTE="wiidominance"]Considering both NFL 2K and NFL 2K1 plus a ton of other Dreamcast games scored very high AAA (we're talking 9.9 for one of those NFL games) I doubt GS was biased against them. Shemnue was just one of those games where if you like it you love it but if you don't the game is absolute s***, there's no middleground. And I hope you enjoyed losing any credibility you had with that "Did GS have an offensive approach to the Dreamcast back in the day, similar to whats happening now to the Wii and PS3" line. Conspiracy theories are beyond stupid.the thing is ... they mentioned in the gamespot review the following: "Editor's note: The preceding review is a re-evaluation of Shenmue on GameSpot - the original score overlooked certain significant features that, after consideration, invalidated the original score that the game received. GameSpot regrets the error."
Yet the score hasn't change ? don't tell me thats supposed to be the reevaluation score ??!!!
the other confusing aspect, the reviewer seem to be knowledgable, and indeed the review was quite deep and detailed. My guess he failed to put the facts in numbers .... not sure, but did he have enough reviewing expierence?
Moreover, would someone tell me , Did GS have an offensive approach to the Dreamcast back in the day, similar to whats happening now to the Wii and PS3 ?

Ok .. maybe I exaggerated by saying an offensive approach ... but you can clearly see that they are more enthusiastic with the 360 and PC than PS3 and Wii , you just can't deny it, and the games they cover, are clearly in favour of the 360, these are flat facts that you can't deny.
Thats probably because the 360 and PC have some very, very exciting games coming out. I'd say there's probably a 90-95% chance that the GOTY here is a 360/PC game simply because of all the quality titles coming out. Its just a timing thing, the 360 is in its second year withsome monster games comingand the PC is having a sort of mini-renaissance while the PS3 and Wii are having the standard 1st year drought.
