Dude, you are really trying too hard.

How do you know the story of this game is not "deep"? Have you played the game already? Looking at your post it looks like the characters in this game just do not fit with your power fantasy.

The chances it will flop are very low if we take into account what was shown of the game.

Since when was this game hyped? There were tons of previews pointing out it was going to be bad.

Hopefully the failure of The Order 1886 makes people see just how shitty these "cinematic cover-based third person shooters" are.

I am honestly amazed of the fact that there are people suprised that The Order 1886 flopped. It looked like garbage ever since they showed gameplay and this is coming from a Sony fan. Anyway, its not really that important since Bloodborne will be released soon.

Its a shame really, these awesome graphics and cool setting are getting wasted on a shitty movie-like cover based TPS.

I dont know whether the cover system is casual or not but cover based TPS are certainly garbage compared to the more "arcadey" kind of TPS done in the past. Here you are assuming realism equals to fun and good game design but thats just false. Cover systems reduces the TPS genere to a crappy peakaboo minigame. But thats not the worst thing, it hampers your movement and in shooters movement is just part of the fun, if you take away that element you are removing part of what makes shooters fun. Then you have the problem that movie-like cover based TPS are usually incredibly linear and we all know that terrible game design. Chest-high walls are placed in these games in the most unnatural and convinient way you can imagine making these corridor-like maps look just stupid. And besides modern cover based TPS are far from being realistic and everyone who has played them should know that, making your entire point moot. I mean, is health regen "realistic"? Rofl no.
