Has anyone seen it? I'm curious to watch it, and likely will regardless of what reviews say. I just would like some opinions anyway from anyone who's ever seen it, or maybe read the book. And if you haven't seen it, would you care to?

Romney I think won the first, but Obama came back strong the second time. Your thoughts?

letting the other person fall to their death..

I can either pick between a loved family member that I know ,although more naive and not as intelligent as a human being, is a good, happy, loyal and loving being. Or I could pick the stranger, and let's face it, most human are ignorant, hateful, greedy and selfish and this proof is all around us, including me and you as well. Just take a look at System Wars or the middle east or pretty much any place. This is why I like animals, no backstabbing or dirty schemes or hidden agendas, they're more simple and I like that.

Can you tell me why I should prioritize the human? Just because it's a human, because we're the same race? You'd save a complete douchebag instead? Why?

Basically here's how it goes:
Either I can save the dog and the person will die, in that case, I'll never know what kind of person it was but most likely some kind of family would be sad.
Or...
I can save the human, and the human might turn out to be a complete tool (or not) and guess what? Me and my family will be mourning instead.

Again:
Dog : me + family = happy, some family will *probably* be sad.
Human: Me and my family would be sad, other family will be happy.

So once again:
Dog: one family will be happy, guaranteed good being saved
Human: one family will be sad, possibly bad person saved.

Clear choice to me.

What if it was a little child?

When I first heard it, I wasn't really "feelin" it, but throughout the film, I liked it more. Also, Bane's dialogue matched the voice quite well.

No one was on the second floor except for me. My parents were for sure upstairs, when I ran up there, they were in their room. My brother was also in his room. My sisters weren't home.

How do you know it wasn't one of them and they went to their room before you got upstairs?

The way my house is, I would've seen them, heard them, etc. My living room and kitchen are almost connected and people can clearly see into it from the kitchen.

I don't know what it was therefore the most 'logical' explanation is that it must have been a spirit/ghost/whatever

That my friend, is an argument from ignorance.

It's not an ignorant argument, there's no argument at all. I am ignorant to the explanation behind what happened because I don't know what can exactly explain it. I'm labeling it a "ghost" in accordance to what the general perception of what ghost are in comparison to what I experienced. It can certainly be something other than a ghost.

No one was in the living room, everyone was upstairs relaxing for the night. The lights went off and I saw a shadowy figure move across the room. I'm pretty sure many people would be spooked by that. What is there to explain that?

[QUOTE="thegerg"]"What could this mean, prove, etc.?" It doesn't prove anything.

Hows that? Something turned off the lights.

[QUOTE="DeadMan1290"][QUOTE="Smokescreened84"]Well finding out the history of the house, former occupants, any deaths in the house and the nature of the deaths would answer some questions. The first step towards knowing is to ask questions and get the answers after all. Seen ghosts as well, always fascinates me.

They don't want to know, lol.

When I first moved in, the former owners said the house had once "burned down", though not sure to what degree. I sometimes speculate someone died in the fire, but I try to not think about it too much.
