I'm looking for a way to play games in my web browser, the reason being that I hop computers a lot and don't have time to download and install games on all of them. What I need is a Gaikai or OnLive-esque service that is up and running right now. I tried StreamMyGame which didn't help me at all. Any suggestions?

Reach hands down... CoD7 + MoH will suck, and the rest don't even really need to be considered.

Okay. Just finished Red Dead Redemption. Wow.

First of all, the game took about 12 hours to complete. This was partially due to the story and partially due to the sheer amount of things you could do on the way to objectives. I was stuck using the fast travel option as often as I could to avoid getting side tracked while moving, but I still kept going off objective. There is TOO MUCH stuff you can do in this game. The amount of different animals, achievements, stranger missions, challenges, and most importantly the random events just make Red Dead Redemption a game that can be played over and over different ways each time.

Second, the story was incredible. Plot twists and turns everywhere keep you interested throughout the entire game. This was the one of the only games I have ever played that held my interest to the very end and made me eager to play whenever I could, and it is undoubtedly the longest of any of these games. A surprising ending only added to the plot.
The ending also frustrated me very much. In the end, Marston is faced by an entire gang of law enforcement for which he does not have enough ammunition or deadeye to kill before they unleash their weapons on him. I wanted to repeat the ending over and over, just to see if it was possible for John to live, which demonstrated the immense feeling of emotional connection someone has after playing through the game.
Third, multiplayer is VERY fun. Not only can you free roam with your friends, but you can also perform co-op missions and participate in multiplayer shootouts. There are many different game types but they all start with a Mexican Shootout, which is a very enjoyable experience. It's like an in-game duel, but without deadeye and involving team vs team instead of 1v1. After that, the game progresses as a normal multiplayer match in any other game. Progression isn't too hard but isn't too easy either, providing a perfectly difficult progression ladder. There is a MW2 Prestige-like system in place where a player can reset their stats at level 50, but instead of providing no rewards, previous rewards are unlocked at a lower level and there are new rewards available at higher levels.

Now, with all this being said, there is a dark side to RDR. That would be its glitches. Red Dead Redemption has more than its fair share of glitches, making it the roughest game in my collection. A lot of times these glitches will sneak up on you and ruin your fun. Some of these aren't glitches but are intentional, such as a cougar pouncing on you and 1-hit killing you after a half an hour of hunting animals (believe me, just happened to me again today) but others are just frustrating, like your horse flying in to the air and killing you, or refusing to jump off a cliff, only to jump when you attempt to turn it around.

The controls for mounted aim are also imperfect. Shooting enemies behind you is near impossible to do without stopping or going far off course, although they are much easier to use than some other games. Also, the crosshair in the game is just frustrating. In singleplayer, the crosshair is a small white dot, which often blends in with the ground because of the extraordinary lighting system. This problem is fixed in multiplayer, where a white circle is placed around the dot providing a GTA IV-style crosshair.

All in all, Red Dead Redemption is the best game I've purchased this year, and will definately be a title I will revisit often.

Check the sticky, it'll really help since it's organized by category.

Personally, I would recommend:

RPG - Mass Effect 1+2

FPS - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Sandbox - GTA IV + Red Dead Redemption

These games are really the top games in their categories and can't be easily beat. Bioshock is worth taking a look at as it's a very different kind of FPS. Other than that, I don't really touch any of my other games because these are enough to keep me occupied.

Only time I touched my avatar in the last 2 years is to add the Agency Helicopter toy, which I wouldn't have redeemed if I knew it was an avatar toy and not an in game item. My avatar is also a lot thinner than I am *cough cough*.

The title of this thread LITERALLY made me begin laughing hysterically, earning me some weird looks from nearby family members.

It's rated E, so I doubt you can, but if you could they would either reappear in front of you or land on their legs and walk over happilly. Giving 8 year olds a free pass to animal abuse isn't Microsoft's style.

Lol, you don't. You can get 100% of the achievements because they never go away, but 100% game completion won't happen.

Also, think about it plot-wise. If you detonated the beacon and killed all the Freaks, you wouldn't be able to complete any more Freak beaches, and you would also not be able to kill zombies at night, the ONLY good thing about sandbox mode.

Obvious gimmick is obvious. The LEAST I want to do is play games standing up. I can't imagine constant movement for over half an hour would be comfortable. Especially during the summer, when gaming is most popular, standing up and moving in the heat is NOT fun. For 150 bucks for a Wii emulator on X360, it's not really worth it, especially since NO good games will be coming out for it. I only play games like Halo, MW, and GoW, which will NEVER use motion control.

First off, this should have been posted in system wars.

Second, it's just you. 360 has the BEST multiplayer exclusive games and multiplayer community, while being relatively cheap. $50 bucks a year is cheaper than 1 new game, making it fairly affordable for the fun that is had when gaming. Halo 3 is still active, the MW2 community is pretty good and plenty of people still play GoW 2. The addition of Halo Reach, GoW 3, and Medal of Honor (not exclusive but will still probably be funner in multiplayer on X360 than PS3) will only make 360 even MORE fun than PS3. This isn't to say that PS3 is bad, I think both consoles are pretty good, but I find PS3 better for Singleplayer while X360 wins for Multiplayer.

If anything, PS3 is losing steam. Not only does it have less good exclusives, but the removal of the Other OS option will certainly make it sell less, since many places bought and created research networks by using clusters of PS3s to cloud process things.
I've kind of been hearing the same thing. Is it worth a rental for $7?

chex81

i rented it, couldn't bother to keep it for a whole week. $7 is better than purchasing the game...so ya, i guess. eventhough i still sort of felt ripped off.

You can easily beat the game in about 6 hours. The only good thing about it is sandbox mode at the end. Really fun after you get Agility to 5 to grab a Helicopter and kill zombies. The only reason I even play the game any more is for achievements. I've completed the story, taken every tactical location, and now all I have left is to close the 6 remaining Freak Breaches I have left for that achievement and I'll probably never pick up the game again. I might give it to my cousin because he LOOOVED Crackdown 1. He doesn't care about plot, he just likes blowing things up (he's 10) but other than that I think the only other games I'll be playing till Reach are MW2 multiplayer and Red Dead Redemption.

Crackdown 2 = Rent, Don't Buy
