Yeah theres nothing out worth playing, and Cows will tell you to keep waiting forever...

Just spend that money on some quality games that are out now.

Odd. I have a PS3 and have been playing the hell out of NBA 2k7 and MLB 2k7 for the past couple of weeks.

Microsoft is rich, but not that rich and besides, Sony and Nintendo will just say NO!!

Not even Bill Gate's Chrome Steel Nail-Clipper nor his Diamond Cast TV Remote will make Sony and Nintendo say Yes.....

Hermitkermit

Not to mention Microsoft's investors would go into a full scale selloff and the value of MS's shares would tank.

NCAA is better than the Madden version and it WON'T be coming to the Wii. Tough luck.

Tell that to KAz and Ken both soon to be ex Sony CEO's.

For me it was Raiders of the Lost Ark for the Atari 2600. I got the game for my birthday in 1983. I was only 5 then and the game was fairly complex for the time and you had to follow a perfect set of events to complete it. Of course at 5 I lost the instruction booklet and without the internet or even game guides available then I had no way to know how to finish the game. Yet I kept trying.......for the next 15 years. In 1998 I finally found an online guide my junior year of college and finished the game.

At E3, only 6 months after the original xbox launched, sony proclaimed, "We've won the console wars!" to thunderous applause.

if it was good enough then, why is it different now?

tango90101

Because it was poor statement then just as it's a poor statement now.

I'm not calling it quits after this gen. My other big hobby is golf which is far more expenisive and exponentially more frustrating.

Depends.  If they stick to the tired old boring turned based garbage of yesterday then it will most likely suck an suck royally.  If they make it more of a first person experience with a more action oriented battle system it could be awesome.
