laying off gaming personnel from sony is a more telling sign of sony's gaming weakness than a spike in the entity's stock...

the ps3 is creating a huge hole for sony... while fighting a multi front war.... and with a new enemy... Apple...

i'm just not as optomistic as you i guess...

but no..i'm saying sony is dying...just their ps3 side of the house...;)

I'm partial to the F.E.A.R. shotgun.  That thing rocks, especially when you blow someone in half or into a million pieces and stain the walls with blood.

Well, if the weapons are interesting then they contribute a lot to the replay value of a game. If 50000+ people still play halo 2, if less people play resistance then the weapons arn't as interesting.

I agree - if the weapons are so amazing, why is this the first time I've actually heard that (seriously). And again, if they are so amazing, why does nobody play this game? I only know of one actual person who owns it and according to them Resistance is not very exciting.

A sample pool of one isn't really enough to formulate a reliable conclusion.

True, but it's just one part of the game. Halo beats Resistance in so many other parts that having worse weapons doesnt' diminish the fact that Halo overall is better. Halo wasn't a perfect game, in fact I don't think any game is. And further, even if Resistance has better weaposn (and I say if because it's purely subjective) it doesn't mean Halo's are bad by default.
