i read the article. bear1961 is right the article is a waste of time. and all the games that were supposed to have caused other "problems" were on the xbox too. all that crap those companies spouted off about was straight PR dog ( public relations in case you dont know what i mean) they couldnt care less just like everybody who responded in the comments section. the games they mentioned were GTA: San Andreas and Manhunt both on the Xbox. So Sony was at fault for that and not the kids parents...
oh yeah i forgot to mention the 360 part of the article. bew system not well received, lots of unhappy consumers mad that they just bought 360 then you make a new one. HDMI for 360 is inferior to PS3 doesnt support trueHD or DTS -HD surround. will cost close to $900.00 to be on same page as PS3, so PS3 is the better buy. HDdvd is dying they just lost more support from Fox studios ( currently the BlueRay format has at least 15 movie studios backing it) GO SONY!!! and they are dropping the price by $100.00 dollars possibly by the fall (they dont have a set date yet). the 360 is also getting in line for downloadable movies and tv shows ( so much for it being for games only, but Sony is the gimmicky one huh?). the one we all need to keep an eye on is Nintendo they are wipping the floor with both 360 and PS3 in sales. different demographic though. so i think that is the nail in the coffin for the 360. one last question : how come the 360 only has 5.4 million sold in 2 years and the PS3 has 2.3 million sold in 5 months AND it has a issue with price points, do the math . 360 sold because there was nothing else to buy at the time its over now so RIP 360. end of line
i just read an article in EGM yesterday that was talking about the console war. according to their sources the PS3 has already passed the mark that the PS2 was at when it hit 5 months old. they just had an oustanding launch in europe ( over 800,000 sold) contrary to what those other 2 guys like to say. and in six months we will have HOME up and running and guess what ... they arent going to charge us a dime. i still cannot find info on the incident with the goat is this even real or what? if its such a big deal how come nobody is hearing or talking about it. must be a British thing we dont understand lol.

sippy_123 you make some good points, i didnt hear about Ken Kutaragi. im sure they have someone to support the lose, thats big business. to my knowkledge all the games cost 59.99 DVD and BlueRay. i still say that programmers have to get a grip on the technology, i checked ouit FEAR this weekend and i feel cheated by Sierra they didnt optomize the game at all. i saw better graphics on the PS2 and Xbox. then i went to see it running on the PC and it didnt look any better, its a simple looking game by design. but if u remember the PS2 was getting ragged for its graphics when it first came out ( anti-aliasing) jaggies whatever u want to call them. but in time that was not an issue anymore. the PS3 has shown it can do anything the 360 can do and better at times if the programmers do their jobs. so like i said before time will tell. this is getting really interesting.
if that is the case then that is on the programmers not the system. the system has shown it can do anything that the comp can do as long as the programmers do their part. so you got one now i hope you are happy. but check this: this is not the first time gamespot has said similar things about a game and when i played it i did not see the issues they were talking about. i dont think that F.E.A.R is going to make or break the PS3. oh well cant win them all huh?
been checking out some rumors about a new 80GB model PS3 i guess Sony and Microsft both realized that downloadable content takes up more space faster than they thought. i will gett a 250GB drive in the next month or so. any body else hear anything yet?
sidhant3091 its because they need fuel for their fire. anything they think looks like a bad thing for Sony they jump all over it. time tells all and the 360 is almost out of it ( time that is). we cant predict the furture but the writing is on the wall, if the Xbox doesnt change up there media they will get left and that is not an opinion its a known fact. they have a decent (and i stress decent ) game system but lets take a look at history ( the sega master system had better graphics than the NES but lost that war. then the turbo graphix had better graphics than the SNES but lost that war. point being made is even IF the 360 has a better video card or graphics it cant make the games play better it takes processing power for that and the 360 just doesnt have it. right now in the first generation of games they are about on the same page but it is changing and they can get so much more out of the PS3.
di3hardgam3r you are to funny. i feel you. bear1961 you forgot to mention they are making it black now to, so when you think about it, it looks as if Microsoft is the one doing all the copying. anymore 360 posters want to debate that little issue. i think someone in here said that sony is copying the 360 and the wii. i dont even know why people bring up the wii in here its not even on the same page as the other 2. plus Sony put out their controller first so how did they copy.
