I think SMS proved were better off without it.

You could get the best CG directors and writers in the world and Mario will probably still have a terrible story that you just don't care about, Mario is just silly so hes better left silent. Zelda is different. Imo that series kind of needs it now, It should be like metroid prime 3 though were all the other characters talk and links silent. I never want to hear him say a word

VendettaRed07

Zelda lack of Voice acting and CG for me is just LAZY.

Mario is the only character that always get a free pass for having awfull story, or lack of it. But even if was better withouth voice acting... they could have made action CG that could have been added to mario galaxy... a good CG scene of mario fighting bowser, saving the princess wouldn't do any worse.

Tales of Symphonia has both of those, voice acting and anime cutscenes.

felipebo

Tales of Symphonia was made and published by NAMCO. I am talking of nintendo.... *srugh*

Metorid other M is going to use voice acting and CG

bowser3

"going to use" future tense... cmon is Nintendo that far behind... there must be at least ONE game RELEASED the most profitable console publisher released with this basic features?

Has Nintendo ever released a game with extensive voice acting?

Has Nintendo ever released a game with extensive CG or even anime sequences?

These 2 things that are pretty comon in moderrn games appears to be negleted by Nintendo, as of today I can't remeber any Nintendo game that has put a lot work into these.

Surely in the the NES/SNES times these thing weren't avaiable... with Ps1 we started seeing and hearing... but as of now the ps1 game usually have more voice acting and CG than most Wii games.

Will Nintendo EVER start using these features? While this features are not required for a good gameplay, isn't a little LAZY on Nintendo's part?

Does Nintendo have a free pass and because of that is the conpany that will never need to use this features, only OHHHH YEAHH mario exclamation are enough?

Darksiders is better on the Ps3 than 360 according to Gamespot.

In darksiders 360 gamespot says there is screen tearing and slowdowns... unlinke the superior Ps3 version.

The 360 can have Bayonetta, cause the Ps3 has Darksiders.

Evens it out

Motion sensing = for casuals and kiddies

nhh18

hardly. I am hoping for better motino sensing. Precision and sells 20 million and has 3rd party and 1st party support. Wiimotion plus hopefully obtains this I doubt sony wand will be anything more than casual trash

Wiimotion plus is not precise... is only a improvement on the bad motion tech the wiimote was, nothing more.

The Sony wand offers milliliter precision, sharps will fail commercially but as far as preciseness and responsiveness it wil be the best tech available coming end 2010.

TC I think you forget that Microsoft has had FF XI for years now. . .mythrol

@mythrol

Didn't forget nothing read the second paragraph again.

"This generation .... there has been no MMORPG for consoles that leaved paper.... yet (excluding FFXI and Phantasy Star Online since they are ports from last gen)."

That is so bad news for the 360 fans... Microsoft is trying to save money so Natal ccan be cheaper, but will eventually make that all game have to be custom addapted and downgraded to be used in Natal. 10-15% is a lot of processing power required.

I do now Sony motion tech will also need the cell to run, but has been said only needed 1 SPE. And since few games were able to use all SPEs would be far easier to make games use the motion tech withouth any downgrade. As example one of the best looking games, Resident Evil:5 is already running on it.

Because the motion tech will not use the multipurpose core of the Cell, the Sony tech won't need to downgrade games that run with it.

Only game I think that there will no way to run the motion without downgrade would be Uncharted 2, since Naughty Dog said the used each SPE processor to its limit. They would need to better optimize the code or we would see some few effects on screen.

[QUOTE="wolverine4262"]I wonder how we will have to pay for these games...Twin-Blade

400 points for the game on Xbox and PC, 240 for just Xbox, and 40 points to play once. And this is only for old arcade and Intellivision games. Insanity.

Who is this even for?

What!? For one game!? That's a joke. They should make a "Habbo Hotel" thing using avatars. Give players their own virtual space & make it easily accessible to find certain rooms that have certain themes, such as gaming rooms etc, just like Habbo Hotel. I'll suggest this in every forum or thread about Avatar related games in the hopes a Microsoft employee may see it & thinks its a good idea. I'd pay good money for it.

LOL.... you want a HOME with avatars then?

LOL... the once bashed by 360s users even before launch is now what they want?

LOL... even Ps3 users bashed home.. Habbo Hotel with avatar is essentially home, a free service on PSN.

You would pay GOOD money for it? LOL

I think is very much like home arcade game rooms.

Only more polished for that since it only has this purpose.

[QUOTE="Cherokee_Jack"] Might be their first and last...Cherokee_Jack

Why do you say that?

THQ wants Darksiders to be a franchise, so you can bet their next hot projects will be Darksiders 2, Darksiders 3, and Darksiders: Origins for PSP.

Heard rumors of even holliwood adaptation... MEH
