@BeefoTheBold: Yea, Old republic is a good example of monetization gone bad, a 100 mill flop that brought the end of bioware.
I recall a couple of years ago everyone was releasing their own moba because of how much money Dota 2 compendium and mtxs were bringing. Even Epic had their own flop moba back then. Done right they print money, gone wrong kills the company.
COD also is making their own thing, now single player COD campaign is almost non existent and somehow they sell even more.
@PETERAKO: Why, they are only following the android formula on PC, it will require a bigger investment but pulled off and its a money machine, just look at fortnite raking the millions.
As long as they keep people chasing the carrot folks will dump money into it. The only problem i see is if they mix a completely PVE game with PVP. Then it will have trouble with player retention similar to Division because games that do that excel at neither.
Its a really fun game but i hate that i have to tweak every car that i am going to use just so i can do hard corners, with every race having a mandatory 2 to 3 hard corners. Other than that its a fun game, great music and pacing.
Terrible AI, you could block entire sieges with just line of pikemen on hold your ground blocking walls while swarm of archers/crossbow hit everything behind. If you could exploit that on campaign, the cheap tactics on actual matches would be even worse.
