this is why i consider Take Two and Rockstar as the best game developer and publisher. They know how take care their most precious franchise. You guys are the very reason why gamers can still have faith in video game industry. Keep up the good work!
Tomb Raider really deserved it. 2 hours on it and i already know, this is the best game on 2013 so far for me. You've done a great job Crystal Dynamics!
@Monkeystrummer nah, microtransactions is not a problem, at least for me (except for the fact that it made that stupid general ammo mechanism). The problem is the direction of the game: Throw as many necromorphs as the screen can fit, give a big ass weapon for Isaac, put stupid, uninspired fall set pieces just to prove that Isaac have the strongest backbone (or a very good suit) in the whole universe.
congratulation Arkane, thank you for brought us one of the best stealth game this gen. Also a very big thank you for ThatGameCompany, Telltale, Ubisoft Montreal, and Bioware. You guys are the reason why 2012 are so incredibly awesome!
i still don't understand why microtransaction on Dead Space 3 became so much problem. You can easily finish the game without it, and there is no online competitive multiplayer on that game (unless you envy your co-op partner having a Triple-Length Repeater Plasma Cutter with 200 Acid Bathed Rounds Magazine Massive Pulse Rifle).
Still, microtransaction is a bullshit business strategy, even on mobile game, check out the 'free' to play Real Racing 3.
@Chaos_Dante_456 @sensei_hEnRY well, watching Killzone: Shadowfall and Destiny on PS4, i think FPS would still thrive on next gen. Also Activision, Microsoft, and EA wouldn't stop making more Battlefield, Halo, and Call of Duty.
ooh...thank you that the report is 'patently false'. Despite the poor sells of Dead Space 3, there is no doubt that Dead Space is one of the most successful new IP for EA in this generation. It's not fair to end it just because of one bad game (it's not even bad, just as not Dead Space as it supposed to be). I hope both EA and Visceral Games (especially EA) learn from this experience and go back to the core of the game that so many horror fans love. It's really not that hard to make a good survival horror, just open your old files that said 'Dead Space (2008)'
