DS Collection...preview, again :)

I know, I know, previews aren't that crazy, but trust me, getting this whole thing together is taking WAY too much time; much more than what I expected.  It's still great though, and i'm working on it, and I can prove it:

Soon you will see the full-size, non-blury version, as well as the rest of my DS collection :)

Stay safe!

DS Collection: Preview

Hello everyone.
Welcome to the preview of my DS collection.  I'll give you a photo to enjoy:

I'm planning something BIG with my entire DS collection, and I'm almost done, but things are a bit busy(er) this weekend; you'll have ti wait just a little longer, but it'll be awesome, I promise :)

Laters!

Desky is alive!

Hey everybody, Desky is alive again!  The worst-case scenario happened; the motherboard was busted, so I had to buy a new one and re-install Windows.  Indeed I lost all my documents and files, but fortunately I was able to recover a lot of special stuff from online postings :)

Well, I do have 100 DS games now, but guess what else I'm starting to collect?  Ds styli (or styluses, if that's how you like it :))  I recently ordered a set of five Mario-related DS styli; once I get those in the mail I'll snap some shots of my entire DS collection.

Life sure does change.  Last night, after spending over two hours re-installing software and hardware on my computer, I realized that I had no idea of what a computer was back in Mexico, when I was 13.  Technology is messy but amazing nonetheless!

See you soon; take care!

Do the chicken dance!

Hey everybody.  Things have been a bit busy lately, so you haven't seen me around as much, but I'm back and I'll catch up to your blog posts soon.

For now, take a look at this:

My stepdad got two chickens as a gift.  They're cool, except that they sing a lot every morning :)

My 100th DS game, Ouendan 2, should arrive today, and I should have updated DS collection pictures by this weekend.  See you then!

Crazy DS presents!

My best friend Danny was nice enough to give me a load of DS gifts yesterday!  Here's what I got:

Lost in Blue 2 DS stylus
Pokemon Diamond / Pearl styli (both of them) and stylus holder
Spectrobes DS stylus
Death Jr. DS stylus
Enamel Navy and Pearl Pink DS styli
Enamel Navy DS Lite slot 2 dust cover

And last but not least, Elf Bowling I & II, one of the worst yet best DS games out there!  This is my 99th game, which means...Ouendan 2 will be my 100th game!  It ships next week!

Also, I was able to recover a lot of documents from my desktop; thank God for online uploading :)

Have a great day!

Very good news and very bad news

Hey people.  I have very good news and very bad news as well; good always prevails, so let's see what's good first.

GOOD - My sister finally decided on a career; she want as far as to apply to college, AND she got accepted!  She's going to Le Cordon Bleu's California School of Culinary Arts to study for seven months and get her diploma as a Pastry Chef.  Also good news is the fact that whatever cakes and desserts she makes, she's bringing home for me to enjoy :D

BAD - Very bad; my desktop computer died :(  R.I.P Desky.  Some crucial Windows file was corrupted, and even after I erased everything on my hard drive and re-installed Windows, it doesn't work; I'm going to have to send it back to the vendor.  So right now I'm using Lappy the Laptop to write this; ironically, Lappy is sitting on my desk rather than my lap :)  I lost everything; my precious documents, my collection of game music, my GoNintendo podcasts...:(

I'm re-downloading stuff as fast as I can.  It'll be a long night...

Hooray! Class cancelled; let's PARTY!

Well I've been known to be a school boy, liking school and all that, but tomorrow's Sculpture class has been cancelled and well, I'm glad it was!  That means I can disperse my homework, which now will be less, and I can play more DS tomorrow morning!  I like sculpture, is fun, but it takes me a very long time to get something good going on.

Freedom!  Let's PARTY like it's November 21st, 2004! (Nintendo DS release date)

'We'll have to wait and see'

Hey everybody, how are you?  First of all, if anyone knows where that 'we'll have to wait and see' famous quote comes from, post here; I doubt anyone knows, but maybe someone out there likes __ ________ as much as I do :)

Well, have you seen me commenting in your blogs?  I've been posting in a lot of blogs, some old, some new, and I've had a great time reading your stories, anecdotes and everything else you like about life.  If you haven't seen me, let me know and I'll make a note to visit your blogs more often :)

As far as my life goes, nothing crazy; school, as always.  I did a PowerPoint presentation on the DS today; major games, the market for DS games, and how successful it is.  I did pretty well.  I'm also re-playing Zelda Twilight Princess on my GameCube, as well as playing and loving Pokemon Pearl.  I can't wait for my copy of Ouendan 2 to ship!

I'll have updates as they happen...if they do :)  Have a great day!

Good-bye, you piece of garbage!

I'm finally upgrading to a decent digital camera!

Last year I bought a DX6 305, which is possibly the stinkiest digital camera out there, but I didn't know that at the time; all the 'bells and whistles' advertised on the retail package seemed fair enough, and I was lured into wasting $100.  I just bought a Canon A530 online; it's a good camera for photography beginers like myself, and it offers a decent amount of features for just under $150.  This new baby is really going to help me on my second design course; I'm going to create a DS Picture Album featuring over 20 pics of people playing DS!

But that 'piece of garbage' came in handy sometimes.  It allowed me to take a few pics of my DS collection, and a lot of photos that I used for my first design course.  Let's take a look at some of the pictures it took:
