A little over a week ago life could not get any better because it was so good. Now I feel like life cannot get any better because it is so bad. Shocking how quickly everything changes. This week has been so slow, it feels like this week is taking as long as the entire summer did.

I had a friend at work who dipped. He thought it would be funny if he gutted it and never chewed tobacco again.

I ate a piece of elementary school pizza covered in cartoned milk and apple sauce when I was eleven. It was for $1.45. I threw up quite a bit and got sent home. I won't do things just to make a dime like that anymore. Haven't since.

I'll tell you what I told everyone in another thread.

Slap her in the face and tell her she's fat and ugly and that you wouldn't dream of touching her with a barge poll.

SideSwipes
I think that is the most beautiful thing that I have ever heard another person say. Words to live by. Where were you when I was fifteen!?

I have a degree in history so I've spent a lot of time sifting through my Grandfather's interminable anecdotes about Norway during WWII trying to find something I can write about. He had a lot of information about safe houses and weapons caches, but it was mostly just him talking about all the women he was into and his drinking stories. He apparently tried to volunteer during Finland's Winter War with Russia but got stuck in an alcohol rehabilitation centre with some of his friends. He was kind of a jerk so I didn't like talking to him =\

Mine is such a dark hue of brown that most people assume that it's black.

Some very good music is extremly simple. I'm not talking mainstream music either. Folk-metal is based around (duh) folk music at it's heart. Folk music is, in essence, simple music that any person who enjoys can participate in. Learning simple folk songs isn't hard, and they still sound good. Complexity for complexity's sake tends to be nothing more than a mask for a dearth of true passion, and if music has any universal statement, it is one of beauty (even the beauty of something appaling or hideous). Of course, I may just be spouting nonsense, as I'm quite often given to that unfortunately.

Metal isn't always the most complex, but music doesn't need to be a footrace or a high jump. Nor does it need to be a masters thesis or a doctoral disertation.

Would the anti-villain be one who, in the course of his life, inadvertantly does evil although his intentions are otherwise?

I can think of a few examples of anti-villains if that's the case, but I don't honestly know if they're merely bumbling or actually trying to be evil.

I play the guitar, the mandolin, and the banjo. I dislike bluegrass music though, so don't get any ideas. =|

I don't mind that none of my friends have ever heard of the bands I listent to. When they do try to get into metal it usually just makes me angry because they go for the lamest metal they can find because it is mainstreamed.

I don't bleed metal out of my face though, so it isn't an issue for me that people don't like my music. Maybe if I wore eyeliner, black leather, and studs everywhere I'd feel more upset by people's disdain for metal. At the end of the day, it's music. It's all aesthetics. It's beauty. Beauty means different things to different people. It's just like the difference between guys who like pre-anorexic women and some like obese women.
