It's a one time purchase, with easily 100+ hours of content to keep you busy, across many game modes (WvWvW, sPvP, PvE, Personal story).

So price alone, it's worth a buy, especially if you like MMO's

@northArrow these are only the pre-purchase numbers. pre-orders from third party retailers, and day one buyers are not counted in this number. (something gamespot gleefully forgets to write)

Since in most regions (uk for example) the pre-purchase cost more than a standard pre-order, these numbers aren't a surprise, and they definitely do not tell the entire story.

@impul5e he has a point though, we know barely anything about the game, except it's third person, you can spin kick people, and...it's set in future paris.

I would be incredibly disappointed if these sections where you insert memories into people, are just scripted events with no freedom to do what you want with this power.

That would pretty much kill my interests in this game outright.

Looks interesting, definitely keeping an eye on this on this one, as it develops.

I'm really liking these new IP's coming out recently and soon, it feels like a breath of fresh air in the gaming market at the moment.

@Mrod1212 A lot of new IP's coming out across the spectrum at the moment, from the big developers as well. It's nice to have new stuff to look forward to than a slew of sequels.

Saying that, the game does look interesting, with some potential for some interesting gameplay.

This trailer/teaser looks cool, but the actual gameplay looks uninteresting and devoid of any challenge.

I'll just put this up their with 'den defense' and try to ignore it.
