It looks like a huge improvement on the previous title. But damn, those sea battles look boring as hell.

So far, in every video i have seen of sea battles, the person playing has just turned the camera, fired the cannons, and everything died that was on screen in that angle...yawn.

Still buying it, as the other improvements and additions being added to the game, make it warrant a purchase. It's just these sea battles seem to be a cinematic selling point, used just by the marketing team leaving it devoid of any depth, nothing more.

My hopes and expectations for this game, just sunk drastically.

For some reason, i don't think they can distinquish between the mediocre and the good any more. Which is what brought about things like DA2 :/

@cr8ive @bicelis Characters with a visual identity, they believe can be marketed easier.

So to this end, they said that, while you will be able to equip armour onto companions and all armour will look different on them (we'll see if they follow through), the characters will retain their own visual identity still.

@Lamachina Fortunately, people do, that's why there was quite a lot of anger towards DA2.

Was all of the anger and disappointment constructive/worthwhile/valid, perhaps not, but it stills an indicator that people care.
