[QUOTE="treedoor"]

Meh, I ordered one anyways. Like I said this system pretty much is exclusively mine (I do own it after all), and nobody will ever end up playing with me. Maybe once? Or twice?

So I just got it to go with my standard pad. Here's to hoping it's just as good as the standard :P That's all I need it to be.

i can help you with this being that the max is the ONLY controller i have owned for my NES in over a decade. I don't remember how, or why i got it. But about 10 years ago when i got my NES back up, it was the only controller i had. Since then i've used the regular a couple times but i don't like it. I don't use the turbo buttons and the D pad works the same way. The only noticeable difference to me is the shape of the controller. My current gen console for the last 15 years has been the PS1, 2, 3, so i'm used to playing w/ that controller shape. The max is smaller but very similar in shape. More so than the rectangular regular controller. It's all about comfort for me. But as far as the controller itself, it's basically the same thing

age is a state of mind. people focus on the "number" too much, especially women. I'm in my late 20's, i know people who are 22-23 who have the maturity and overall view on life of someone 35-40. At the same time i have a couple friends who have uncles in their early 40's who still act like they are in HS. It's not about the number it's about how you carry yourself, therefore a specific "number" shouldn't be depressing at all

University of Maryland in the house. 2 bad decisions. One choking his girlfriend. 2, for that girlfriend being Tila FREAKIN Tequila. Really? Like Mark Jackson always says to Jeff Van Gundy, "Come on man you're better than that"

Here's what i learned

The Big Ten is STILL the most overrated and overhyped conference/division in all of sports.They are the ACC or Big East with more "prestige".But those other 2 conferences are basketball conferences first and foremost, football second.The only team that looked good was Michigan (i'll get to that later)

Thanks to the "great" BCS Oklahoma is most likely eliminated from National Championship contention before the first week is even over. I wonder if Bradford is having second thoughts on not going pro

Javan Best is the most exciting running back in the country. Not sure if he's the best overall, but definitely the most fun to watch

Robert Griffin of Baylor will be a Heisman FINALIST next year once the big 3 all go on to the NFL

The Michigan fans need to give Rodriguez 3 years to get HIS kind of players into HIS system. You saw the first sign of that yesterday. His offense is a modern day offense, it wasn't his fault that loyd carr had his team built to play like it was 1989. Big, strong, forceful, but slow and unathletic. Michigan will be back on top of the Big Ten (whatever that's worth) within 2 years

Despite Alabama's win, they HAVE to sure up their kick coverage. Va Tech gauged them on returns all night. I guess you could look at the bright side of that though, the fact that they were getting so many return opportunities meant Bama kept on scoring. lol.

That's all i have so far. I'll watch Snead today, but he's going up against Memphis who couldn't have stopped my high school team (lol) let alone an SEC team, so i don't think i'll be able to take much out of this. We'll see

I agree w/ your first point. Throughout my life i've owned (from original time, meaning when they were originally out) an NES, then got a Genesis and SNES, then got a PS1 and N64, then got a PS2, and now just a PS3.without a doubt the difference graphically between the current gen systems and their predecessors is the slimmest since the NES to SNES days, and i don't expect to see any significant change in the years to come w/ next generation consoles.

But for your other point, i actually like the idea of remastering it. Now w/ that being said i wouldn't want it for every game released, but for classics and collection pieces sure why not? But i would want it updated to the fullest. Sort of like MGS and Twin Snakes. Same game (for the most part) just with game cube graphics. As long as it's a limited amount of games it would be great. But we both know if this becomes popular that EVERY game INCLUDING the crappy ones will milk it. But i would love a redone Vice City game for example, with that atmosphere and updated graphics. I'd get it in a second

No way. It will be the lowest rated Metal Gear Solid game ever made IMO. No kojima (like before), a different style gameplay, etc. It just won't have that "it" factor that makes the MGS series so epic. I predict it will get somewhere around a high 7 to low 8 in most major reviews. Which by no means is a "bad" game, just not as good as the others

i don't like this one bit. Every boxing fan remembers the last time an elite champion spent their training time by filming a movie. Haseem Rochman knocked out Lennox Lewis. Hope history doesn't repeat itself, cause i am waiting on that "hopeful" Mayweather - Pac Man fight

[QUOTE="Thornscar"]The only reallygood game Rockstar makes is GTA. This is all rumor and I don't see the competitors not putting up a fight, specially if they have more money.

The Warriors was GREAT. Especially if you've seen the movie before playing the game. It gives you a better "feel" for the story

"out on the road today i saw a dead head sticker on a cadillac. A little voice inside my head said "don't look back, you can never look back". i thought i knew what love was what did i know? Those days are gone forever,I should just let em go".

Don Henley "Boys of Summer"

I don't know any other songs by the man, and i wouldn't even have this song listed on my favorite 50 songs of all time list,but when i first heard that verse it immediately hit me, cause that's my view on life AS A WHOLE. Once something is over, IT'S OVER. Don't try to recapture it because it will never be the same. Things always change. It doesn't matter if it's a person, place, time, etc., "you can never look back". Don't live in the past. Live in the present and for the future (unless Marty McFly and the Doc could hook me up with that car, LOL). I live by that verse

i actually think tables can turn and sony will be ended remember the time when sega was already in trouble sony stepped in then came microsoft ,

so ya sonys in trouble right now believe me ,,

if any one wanna take advantage i think it should be sonys own rival , sega ,,

mariokart64fan

Sega=Video Game Brand

Sony= Major Electronic Brand FAR BIGGER than just video games.

The difference between the 2 is MONEY. If sega loses money they have nothing to back them up and therefore they shut down (consoles). If the playstation loses money there are SO MANY other items made by sony to generate positive revenue. The Playstation brand could lose money every year for the next decade and as long as the rest of sony's item are profitable they can afford to keep the Playstation going. It wouldn't be smart business wise of course, but it will ALWAYS be an option. The same can't be said about Sega.

Needless to say companies like SONY and MICROSOFT aren't going ANYWHERE no matter how bad you or anyone else wants them to
