Meh, I ordered one anyways. Like I said this system pretty much is exclusively mine (I do own it after all), and nobody will ever end up playing with me. Maybe once? Or twice?
So I just got it to go with my standard pad. Here's to hoping it's just as good as the standard :P That's all I need it to be.
i can help you with this being that the max is the ONLY controller i have owned for my NES in over a decade. I don't remember how, or why i got it. But about 10 years ago when i got my NES back up, it was the only controller i had. Since then i've used the regular a couple times but i don't like it. I don't use the turbo buttons and the D pad works the same way. The only noticeable difference to me is the shape of the controller. My current gen console for the last 15 years has been the PS1, 2, 3, so i'm used to playing w/ that controller shape. The max is smaller but very similar in shape. More so than the rectangular regular controller. It's all about comfort for me. But as far as the controller itself, it's basically the same thing
