Lagarett Blount. Cadillac is gone and hewas only asked to know half the playbook last yr since he was a free agent signing that didn't get on the field til the halfway point of the season. Good young qb to take the pressure off of him. I'm all over Blount this yr

The first name I laughed at was "Vince Carter", he would'nt make the "probable" list in my HOF. Great dunks early on but uninspired play, wasted potential and limited accomplishments afterwards.

I also believe Reggie Miller should be a "shoo-in", I believe he shot his way in and had enough dramatic moments...etc.

mont13

What up Mont? After all these years we finally agree 100 % on something. Vince Carter is the biggest waste of talent of my lifetime. In their prime you could put Vince Carter and Kobe Bryant in a combine style workout in front of people who have never seen or heard of either player, and i guarantee you those people would come out saying that Vince Carter was the more impressive athlete with the bigger upside. But the thing about those combine type workouts is you can't measure a player's heart and desire, and Vince has NEITHER. Just a great athlete who seemed quite content being ONLY that

That was an absolute disgrace to boxing. Haye should be embarrased with himself. This guy was actually flopping in the ring like he was a soccer player.Trying to buy points from the ref. Absolute disgrace.

And now he's trying to make excuses that he had a broken toe and "that's why" he didn't perform well. Get the hell outta here. I hope i never see this guy again. I keep trying to get back into heavyweight boxing but it's stuff like this that continues to keep me away. I'll stick with my welterweights and middle weights

Huh?! It's over?? Totally forgot about the time difference, I was waiting for late night to see what happened:lol: That bad huh? Well, I guess we can agree on this...I keep looking for a reason to get back into the heavyweight division too but there have been far too many disappointments in recent years.

Yeah it came on at 5pm eastern and they are replaying at 10pm. Do yourself a favor and stay away from watching that fight. You'd be better off relacing all your shoes than wasting an hour of your life watching that fight. Downright embarrassing. The best part of the fight was the overly extended entrances of each fighters. I should have turned it off after that

Btw, who would be your top 10 favorites of all time?

mont13

Don't have 10. I could take NBA, NFL and MLB combined and not come up with 10 players that i "really" root for or could call my favorites. All my favorite players from all sports have long retired and maybe it's just me, but i don't have that same "passion" about individual players or teams that i did when i was a little kid and looked up to these players like heroes. I'm long past that. I watch all sports cause i enjoy them, and "root" for the best stories. I wanted the Mavs to win this year cause they had a bunch of players on that team that have been good for a long time but never won. That's basically how it goes for me year in year out for all sports

Oh come on man, release that inner child! Besides, that was the essence of the question "all time favorites", which of course would include your younger days. Look at my list (and several others) most of those players have long since retired. I would'nt say I looked up to any of them as "heroes" but, as a fan of basketball, I really enjoyed what they could do on the court more than others.

As far as Gary Payton is concerned, my only points were along with his skill on both ends of the court, he was a confident, fearless player who was not afraid to step up to the guy (MJ) who most consider the GOAT and someone not to mess with. Payton not only didn't back down, he got in MJ's face...I gotta admire that. The Bulls won that series because they had the better team, but Payton more than held Jordan in check, that is, when the coach decided to play Payton on Jordan, which amazingly wasn't the whole series).

Sorry man i honestly don't have any. If it wasn't Jordan and the Bulls i didn't really care. I went based on story. For example in 99, after MJ retired, i rooted for the spurs in the finals cause i wanted to see Robinson get a ring. The following year i rooted for Indiana in the finals for Miller to get a ring, and so on. This year i rooted for the mavs cause of Dirk, Kidd and Terry. I mean i could appreciate someone like Iverson's game because what he could do at his size, but i sure as hell didn't root for him. I didn't care if he won or lost. I liked seeing Vince Carter dunk, but i sure as hell didn't root for him or his teams. That's pretty much the pattern.

NBA - Jordan and the Bulls (but once players like Horace Grant, BJ Armstrong, Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr, etc. left i didn't root for them. i didn't care). NFL - Dan Marino, Barry Sanders and Ray Lewis. MLB - Cal Ripken Jr. and Pedro Martinez (circa 1999). That's 3 sports and i got 8 players i truely rooted for. Sorry

My top 2 are two "controversial", if not plainly disliked, players, but I stand by my choice.

1. Allen Iverson

2. Gary Payton

mont13

Yeah, I liked both of them too. Iverson had one of the biggest hearts, he was fearless and was probably the quickest guy I saw end to end, with the ball in his prime. Getting that 76'er team to the finals was amazing in and of itself.

Payton was the Man and a great 2-way guard. I always liked Payton's style of play and his swagger

This one is for you sixringz :P

Dirk is having his Kobe Bryant 2010 closeout game tonight. Hope he turns the switch in the 2nd half or maybe jason terry can keep playing like Ron Artest did in game 7 last year, and bail out Dirk the way Ron did Kobe

This one was for you Mont;)

Well, in MJ's last 3 finals he shot 41.5%, 45.6% and 42.7%. In his first 3 finals his fg% is higher, but who was he matched up against, not some undersized 6'3"/195lb (and under) 2 guards, and no zone D, was it ? In the same situation I think Kobe would have thrived too. Go Dallas!

Not in closeout games. 1991- 30 pts, 10 as, 4 rbs. 1992 - 33 pts, 4 ast, 4 rbs, 1993- 33 pts, 7 ast, 8 rbs. 1996- 22 pts, 7 ast, 9 rbs. 1997 - 39pts, 4 ast, 11 rbs. 1998- 45 pts and dominated that last minute on BOTH ends of the floor. You can have the 1996 as a bad game but that game was a blowout all game so he wasn't needed. come on Mont haven't you learned? You can try to twist stats all you want, but you will remain one of the very few who believes what you believe.

I've never seen a superstar just run for the moment like lebron did. I mean there were possessions that he was wide open and couldn't get the ball out of his hand quick enough. Like it was a bomb or something. The lights looked so bright to him. He wanted nothing to do with the pressure. I said it all year. That is why he didn't stay in Cleveland, and that's why he didn't go to Chicago. He wanted to go to a team that he can HELP win a title, not GET HELP to win the title. There's a big difference.
