Interested to see how it turns out, but it would look much cleaner if you got rid of that airbox and had all your fans inside the case. C_Rule
Lol loose the airbox he says. naw the airbox improves the performance way too much with low flow fans.

new radiator, I've never used an airbox and it adds a ton height to the rad I'll see how it goes I dunno if it'll stay. I have'nt mounted the other 3 fans for push pull yet, I'm still measuring and getting ready to port the top of the case. ek does a nice job their product is purty To be honest I'm still waiting on a copy of cs 6 to come, this comp is really for school. I'm going to school for game art and design so theres really no reason to build it unless i can get all the software on it, plus I have to cannabalize some parts from my current system which has all the software I need. In other words its gonna be at least another week before I get this thing up.....sigh

your biggest concern for a power sag or outtage is the hard drive. In a sag the drives spin down and that can cause problems with the internals. It all depends really most of the time it really does nothing to the system but theres always that one in thousand were the drive just decides to die or work improperly.

new z77 asrock, decided to give em a try, was gonna go msi but this board came with alot of reccomendations. That silver beast is Danger Den's new cpu block and a little ssd love to top it off. Your probably wondering why thats a 2700k and not a 3770k, well it seems intel slipped a mickey into the third gen i7s in the form of changing out the tried and true tim with some thermal grease and the new 3770s are running quite a bit hotter then they should be, it's still a great processor that 3770 but I got a 7950 going in the same loop as the cpu and I think I can hit 5.1 or 5.2 if this chip aint a dud. Lian li, absolutely the best no ands ifs or buts about it. Now I'm just waiting on the rest of the watercooling setup to get here. It's scheduled to be here by friday, I probably still can't get to cutting on this thing till the weekend though. I'm so swamped with school work if I get this thing even close to done by mon I'll be a happy meng

Doing a completely new build fully water cooled. Going to custom mount and adjust the tower, I'm thinking of making a step by step vid if anyone is interested in seeing that. I'm taking a full atx lian li case and mounting a triple slot radiator and doing blocks on the cpu and gpu. So if this sounds like something that people would want to see lemme know. At the very least I'll have up to date pics.

You gotta admit the card does look pretty nice. But no way would I spend $1,000 on a single GPU. lol

powerman91
It's a dual gpu setup and one 680 is roughly 500usd so its priced exactly like buying dual 680, its kinda smart if your gonna liquid cool because you would only need a single water block (albeit a pretty big and expensive block) but the whole seperate ram address is curve ball.

2GB VRAM on a card like that. >_>C_Rule
Agreed. for a cool grand I better get at least 4. no one is gonna run this in a single monitor setup. Nvidia we need more memory
