Top10: Films (10th to 6th)

Another Top 10 list by me, as you well see. This time of my favourite films of all time.

10th: You Don't Mess With The Zohan

Zohan

If I ain't wrong this is the latest film from Adam Sandler's company, Happy Madison Pictures (the name came from two old Adam's great movies, Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison, that I couldn't put on the list, but both would be in a Top 20, I guess). And Adam Sandler plays Zohan, a soldier from the Middle East who has super powers but wants to be a hair dresser. A great film indeed, with John Turturro (butcher from Transformers 2) and Rob Schneider (who's in most of Sandler's movies  ).

9th: White Chicks

White Chicks

I guess everybody knows White Chicks, where two black cops (played by Shawn and Marlon Wayans) have to dress as two high-society white chicks for some reason that I can't remember, but this movie is a cIassic, and if you haven't watched it, go do it now! Oh, and the brilliant Terry Crews (Everybody Hates Chris, and other series and movies) is on this film, so that's another great reason for you to watch it.

8th: EuroTrip

EuroTrip

An American guy meets a hot German girl on the net but fought her 'cause he thought she was a man, then he and his friends go to Europe to apologize, but they get in a lot of trouble on the way, and this film is amazingly funny. Even though it's 8th on my list, that doesn't mean it's not so good, 'cause it is. (Scotty doesn't know, Scotty doesn't know...) Oops! Who watched EuroTrip knows that this song is addictive

7th: Zoolander

Zoolander

Directed and starred by Ben Stiller, Zoolander is my seventh favourite movie ever. Ben Stiller plays Derek Zoolander, a model who has been brainwashed to kill the Prime Minister of Malaysia by an evil fashion boss after losing the model of the year award to Hansel (Owen Wilson). Though this film might feel a little old (it's from 2001), it's really funny and great to watch with your family.

6th: Hot Shots! Part Deux

Hot Shots! 2

Okay, I know this film is as old as me (it's from 1993) but it's really good. Starred by Charlie Sheen (Two and a Half Man), Hot Shots! is that old type of parody movie, and it is starred by Charlie Sheen, what more could you ask for? I'm serious, I have the DVD and it's really great, don't let its age deceive you.

The 5th to 1st part of this Top10 is already done, but I'll post it tomorrow so it wouldn't be too boring
Thanks for reading and I look forward your opinions about these films.

Nintendogs: Mongrel & Friends

This Sunday morning while I was sleeping, my mum and sister went to an annual event where the beach avenue is closed so people can walk with their dogs and show them off. I woke up just a dozen minutes before they got home and my mum said "guess what we brought" and I already knew what she was talking about :) So, now besides 4-year-old female Nala...

Nala

Nala, as lazy as her daddy

... we also have 1-month-old male Yoshi. My sister chose his name and I disagreed at first, but after he made a noise that reminded Yoshi putting his tongue out I was like... Whatever

Yoshi

What's with this poor-thing look in his eyes?

I took some pics of him and with him so I wanted to share them with you :) Wow, I've been blogging often, haven't I? :D Have a nice week and take care.

Kiba and Akamaru

Kiba and Akamaru, or Slip and Yoshi... And you'd look like me if you had a puppy on your head that could pee on your just-washed hair at any time

Leer

Yoshi has learned Leer! And yeah, I'm wearing trunks!

Gamer Puppy

A gamer, just like daddy

Optimus Prime in the Sacred Grove

I went to the cinema today and I saw Transformers 2. By your blogs about it, some liked it, some didn't and I think it's a good movie, that's all. It feels more like a comedy than an action movie most of the time, and in the first half of it it felt so stopped and then suddenly it gets full of shots and explosions... I don't know, as I said, it's just a good movie, I'd rate it 7/10.

I'm working on my Top10: Films, so expect a blog about my favourite films soon.

Oh, and I'm trying to play Sacred Grove from Twilight Princess on my keyboard and the right hand part is okay, I guess the sheet I got is kinda wrong 'cause some parts are nearly impossible, even for me who have wide hands, so I'm making some changes on it. The left hand is kinda hard, so that's why I'm trying to do things step by step. As you know, I'm still a keyboard newbie so don't pressure me, okay!?

P.S.: The Skull Kid's name is Saria, isn't it?

P.S.2: That's not me playing on the vid!

The Midnight Blog

Fear not, the night is as harmless as an ant... Well, actually I hate ants, just so that you know.

Seems that I'm not that busy right now... My computer is worse than ever today, I had to reboot it using that little hidden button twice before it could go. I haven't used Twitter today, except for a tweet to a contest of phrases, the best one's writer will get a Wii Motion Plus from some virtual shop I never heard about, but I hope I get that, I'll write as many phrases I can and if any of you guys have suggestions of phrases about why I should be prized with a Wii Motion Plus or why I want it, please, let me know. I swear I'll invite you to my home to play with me if I win. The name of the store is Bit Pop Shop in case you think you could use that in a phrase.

What else? Uh... When I last blogged I was in Arbiter's Grounds (in Twilight Princess). I beat it, then I beat Snowpeak Ruins, Temple of Time and now I got to that city in the clouds or something and it really looks lame. Yesterday I played Zelda for over six hours but today I didn't even touch my Wii Remote... Who cares? Oh, and I deleted one of my Miis (I had Slipknoob and Lucas) and sh!t, I lost my data in Wii Sports! I was PRO at tennis and had several points in golf and boxing

Guess that's all, have a nice weekend. Oh, ya, did you notice my new avatar? It's a character from Zelda: Twilight Princess and I hate him 'cause you have to find and attack him while he summons damn puppets and the best track of the game plays. People call him Skull Kid but I don't know if he has a name... Anyway, I made an avatar and a sign to use in that site I told you about, here's the sig, rate it if you please:

lol

A bit busy + Firefox 3.5

Hey, I'm a member of a Brazilian anime site and I access it as often as I access GameSpot (though I'm there for longer) and I recently was chosen to be a Reviews adm., that means I should accept or decline the anime reviews users sent. I was chosen due to a list of suggestions and improvements that I sent to the owners of the site. Now that the ex-Games adm. was "fired", they put me in his place 'cause they know I love games (yeah, there is a Games section). That section is rather empty, I'm the one who sent most of the games reviews and previews, but now that I am the adm. there, I'm trying to pump the section up, invite users who like games to send their reviews, etc, so I've been kinda busy (the site has almost 60k registered users). That's why I won't be able to comment on everyone's blogs always, but I'm trying to keep it up. Just so that you guys know that if I don't comment on your blog, it's nothing personal. Also, did you get Firefox 3.5? It's good so far, but when I opened a couple of other tabs it started to act all weird, a lot of buttons vanished and it went back to that ugly grey default color (I use a add-on to change its visual) and all the pages showed all wrong. Did you guys have any problem with it? That's it for now folks, take care.

Not this time, American friends

Sorry 4 bloggin twice a day, I know it's annoying. I dunno how much my American friends are into football (soccer), but Brazil has just beaten the USA for some big cup. When it was USA 2 X 0 BRA I lost my hopes, but then we turned everything upside down and it finished USA 2 X 3 BRA, even with a clear goal being ignored. Oh well... Good game :)

The Conduit and WarioWare D.I.Y.

Hey there, this is Slip, as always.

Let's just talk about these two games a lil' bit, 'kay?

First, The Conduit... Everybody was expecting this game and boom! GS gives it 6.5. However, users gave it 8.6. One way or another, it's less than we all were expecting, but I guess I'll have to check it for myself. Any of you guys got The Conduit? How's it for you?

Next is WarioWare D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself) where you're able to build your own microgames with your own graphics and music! Isn't that amazing!? It's release date wasn't announced for the USA and Europe yet, but our Eastern friends are already creating their games and sending to each other. In my opinion, WW: DIY has everything to turn into a big mania. What about you? Do you like WarioWare and do you intend to get Do It Yourself?

Also, I'd like to ask for your prayers to shyguy1234's grandpa, who has cancer. I don't know about you, but I think everyone's support does matter and I know how much pain cancer can bring to family and friends.

That's all for now, have a good week and take care.

No more tests, at least knowledge ones

Hey guys! You guys! Holy sh1t you guys! (from that Master Chief sucks at Halo 3 video  )

Today I had the last test, the Biology one. Even though I fell asleep while trying to revise yesterday, I think I did good, and... Nah, I don't wanna talk about tests, they're boring  Well, when we're having tests the cl4ss organizes itself in a different formation so that there are only four rows (usually there are five), so that girl I talk about now and then is sitting behind the cl4ss' nerd and they're talking a lot, it's like he took my place from nothing. I know, being jealous is awful, but what can I do? Hopefully tomorrow everything will go back to normal, since there are no more tests (but I still have classes until June the 2nd).

As some of you know, I hate Maths, but when it concerns something that interests me, I love calculating. And I did my maths and if I sell my PS2 and don't spend a single coin until December, I may have a DSi bought with my own money before Xmas (yeah, I kinda think far). If I do so, I won't be able to buy Pokemon SoulSilver when it comes out, but I guess I could ask it to my mum for Xmas, it'd be perfect :D

Oh, and there was something more I was going to say... Oh yeah, yesterday I went to a near gym to work out after a long period of laziness... And today I went to the beach and played football with friends and my friend's friends. It was pretty cool, I left home at 2.30 and came back at 5.30 (beach's a few blocks from here), so I'm really tired and my body hurts

See you guys on your blogs, take care.

The Weekend Blog

Well, my Twilight Princess was freezing (it froze some good seven times) either when I got to Gerudo Desert or after I learnt a new secret skill around there. Now I managed to get to that old prison or whatever that thing is and got rid of two out of the four evil spirits who carry a lantern.

As I P.S.ed on my last blog, my gaming plans changed a bit. It's been rather hard to find a IDE DVD burner (my motherboard is old) so I decided to get my uncle's DVD burner since I don't think he uses it much and save my money for a DSi. Yes, I think either that thing is awesome or Nintendo managed to hypnotized me. I want one only for me (I guess that makes the hypnotize theory stronger), 'course I'll let my sister play it too, but I wanna take it to wherever I want to without asking her, also, she'll have the old silver DS for her. I want to get a job for the holiday, so I wouldn't have to sell my PS2 (even if I sold it, it wouldn't be enough to get a DSi), but I don't know where to start, any suggestion?

Also, I have something for the ones who have the time. A picture, a song and a video for the weekend.

This image is one of the hilarious demotivational images from a site I've recently found via StumbleUpon.
Stop

If you don't know MC Hammer and his hit U Can't Touch This, the image might not be funny for you. If you want to check the site on the watermark, do it, there are a lot of funny images, but be warned that there are images that are supposed to be seen only by adults.

This weekend's song is the one that made probably one of the most magic moments of my gaming life, it was so beautiful! This track is fantastic!

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Sacred Grove

And now to the weekend video. Someone who I follow on Twitter twitted it. It's a chorus of children called PS22 Chorus and I watched some of their vids, they're simply amazing! Here's their most recent:

PS22 Chorus with Just Dance by Lady GaGa

My blog should be done for now, but I just got a video via Twitter of students being shot in front of a camera in Iran. As you probably know, things around there are hot due to their elections that seemingly were faked and some people were rioting in front of some public building when soldiers or police shot someone. If you wanna see it, click here.

I'd like to ask for your prayers to that people and I really think international intervention should happen, we're living in an age where we cannot allow some things happen just because it happens inside an imaginary territorial limitation that's not ours. Shall justice prevail over all.

Have a nice weekend.

Wow, time's faster than Jenson Button*!

* the best Formula-1 racer this year.

Hey guys, time's quite fast, uh? My last blog was on 8th and we're already on 17th! Whoa! I don't like leaving such a long period like this with no blogs, so let's go with a short update one.

I bought LIT from the Wii Shop Channel for 8 bucks. It's rather cool so far, though I'm stuck on the fourth boss. For the ones who don't know, LIT is a puzzle game for the WiiWare where you play as Jake, a teen stuck in a school where monsters lurk in the dark and you gotta use lights to make your way through the cl4ssrooms. The game is enjoyable and challenging, but still a little cheap (I ain't talking about the 8 bucks).

But I stopped with LIT for a while 'cause I'm back to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess! I made quite some progress within a couple days. When I stopped playing kinda one month ago, I was still gathering the Tears of Light in Kakariko Village and now I'm entering the Zora's Temple Something or another with my cool swimming suit. (This suit is NOT black! )

But I had to stop it again, I have tests until next Wednesday. So far I had the Chemistry and the Physics one and I felt like I did very good on them. I knew about everything on Physics, but I'm a failure when it comes to Chemistry, but I think I got something around 8/10, let's wait and see.

So, wish me luck with the tests and with that underwater dungeon, that looks tough  Have a nice week and take care! :)

P.S.: I had another change in my gaming plans... My willing comes and goes in a wink, more in the next blog.
