Before anything, yellowshinygold asked me if I could tell you guys to check her images and I was like "why not?" and she was like "oh Slip, you're so sweet!" and I was like "it's your eyes, darling" and she was like "oh, I love you". So, I was reading Courtney's blog and I decided to finally show you some of my Pokemons nicknames. I wanted to do this, but I always forget, so it's now or never :lol: But before that, I wanna tell you a story or two about people who are dumb as a doorknob when it comes to videogames. Okay, when I used to organize Mario Kart Wii championships at some Mario Kart Wii forum (duh), a guy added me on MSN and said he had just bought his Wii and had some questions about it, and since I wasn't doing anything, I started answering his questions... I don't remember very well what they were, but then he asked me if he could play his SNES cartridges on the Wii :lol: Then he asked about N64 cartridges :lol: I couldn't help but laugh out loud :lol: And yesterday I was talking to a guy from my cl4ssroom about videogames and he asked me if the Wii would run PS2 games... I mean, hello! :lol: Uhh... No comments.

Hello people of my heart! :lol:
I know y'all missed me very bad! Haha! :lol: So, remember the girl and all that stuff? I told her by MSN on Sunday, put the lyrics in her backpack in Monday and regretted everything on Saturday :lol: Dizzy, uh? We barely talked on Monday and yesterday, so I asked if we could talk and she said she would feel bad for talking to me about that, so I wrote everything she should know and gave to her today and asked if I could still fix everything. Guess I managed to save our friendship, we're talking at last, after two mute days. I swear I wasn't believing that I did that, it was like it wasn't me who scr3w3d everything, just like a proper nightmare, but now things will be (hopefully) back to normal.

Next, to the E3. Since I own a PS2, a Wii and a DS, I was going to watch only the Nintendo conference, but I couldn't watch it 'cause I'm under 17. I wonder if Satoru Iwata strip-teased or something. But anyway, a lot of people on GS, other games sites and even on Twitter were talking about the E3 and I read that Super Mario Galaxy 2 was announced, what's really good and also a New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii. I think a New Super Mario World would be better, but it sounds like it's going to be fun. I haven't read much about the other announcements for the Wii and the DS, but something that surprised me was that Sony announced that it's going to make games for the PS1 and for the PS2 (I'm not sure if they'd already stopped making games for it). Whoa... The PS1 is dead and gone, I mean... Well, I don't know, do what you want, Sony.

Hey everyone, I've been away for a couple days, don't know if you even realized. First because of that problem with ADBlock Plus, that got fixed on the very same day. Then, all my blogs vanished and all your updates too, so I was out for the whole day. Everything in my life is going good, thank you who asked on my last blog. I've written down to paper all the lyrics I wrote for that girl and wrote what I feel for her on a paper and put everything inside a big envelope and wrote the lyrics for 1, 2, 3, 4 by Plain White T's outside it. My plan is to tell her that I love her and that I want to see her happy be her with me or with anyone else, then I will give the envelope to her and let her think. I know it's not a proper plan, that's just what I'm doing. I intend doing it this week, 'cause Brazilian Valentine's Day is coming (June 12th) and of course, a lot of ads and TV commercials are talking about love, etc, etc, so I hope this will help me somehow. Actually I don't care if her answer will be no, I just want to put all the cards on the table.

You might be asking yourself what all this talk have to do with the title of my blog. It doesn't have nothing to do with the title. Happens that last week, during my IT course break, I found a small cardboard box full of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. I didn't count how many there were, but I'd guess it was something around 200 cards. I took it to the front desk. But today the craziest thing happened: on our last cl@ss we moved into the 5th grade cl@ssroom 'cause ours is beside the sports field and it gets too noisy. After the Chemistry cl@ss when I was leaving the cl@ssoom I saw a supermarket bag under the first seat. I picked it up and opened, now I'd give my underwear to whom guess what was inside... Okay, I don't think any of you want my underwear, so let me tell you what was inside. It was Assassin's Creed for PS3, original, in a red blu-ray box, with the booklet and everything you'd like to find inside the box after you buy it. I stared at it and couldn't believe it, I mean, I don't go to a fancy school and why in this world would make a kid take a PS3 game to school and lose it?? The kiddo who lost it was really stupid... Anyway, I took it to the front desk and came home. Now I leave this question to you: Is this God testing how honest I am? I mean, most people would simply take it home and try to sell it somewhere (this is Brazil, sorry if the truth is tough), so why was it me who found it? Destiny? Coincidence? Destiny? Nah, I don't care, I just know how bad is to lose something you like, I lost my Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone game for GBC when I was a child and I loved that game... Buaah...

Probably most of you guys and girls who live roaming through YouTube have already seen this, but I have seen it today, believe me or not. David After Dentist. It's funny. It's amazing. It's genius! I don't believe I took so long to find this. If you haven't watched it, click on the link right now! You need to! You gotta!

As if the video wasn't funny enough, a famous Brazilian humor blog posts now and then some kind of tiny stories using David, from the video. The title of those blogs is always "Is This Real Life?", 'course you know what I'm talking about if you've watched the video. I'll post here every one that I find and then you could tell me if you found it funny or not.

The guy who appears on this last one got famous after he was interviewed by a reporter for a Brazilian comedy TV show. When the reporter asked the name of a football player he knew, this guy answered "Ronaaaldo" after a long while. 'Course you know Ronaldo (formerly known as Ronaldinho), the Brazilian worldwide known football player. Just to have an idea of how famous this "Ronaldo" got, they made a web page where you can listen to the phrase with one click. Fear not clicking, GS fellows, it's safe and it's not a fake page, even though it has a weird pink background.

Hello everyone. I'll try to make this blog as short as I can so it won't be too much boring. The reason for I took so long to finish this blog has green eyes, chestnut-blondish hair, is really cute and has a couple songs written for her by me. I met her last year and since then she's been a great friend and all, but since her 16th birthday (that coincidentally was on the day of my last blog), we are getting closer as the days go by. My mind is a mess right now, I don't know what's gonna happen. After I watched Death Note and went through some depressive holidays in the beginning of 2K9, I started developing some personality tracing skills and I guess I'm kinda good at it, but these skills won't work with her 'cause she's different from any girl I've ever met. I can't predict her reactions so it's being a weird experience, it's hard to make choices without knowing what the other part is thinking, but I guess that's what relationships are about.

Back to the issue, I'll buy a DVD burner and put an end to my evildoings. I'm not giving my money on fake games to the ones who don't deserve it. I know, I'm not buying original games as well, but this is already a big step away from piracy. I also decided to buy a R4 card for my DS, so I can save the money from games to get a new DS within one or two years. I talked to that GTA girl from my classroom and she said a R4 would be around U$100. I hope she's wrong, 'cause I thought it'd be way cheaper. Anyway, my next DS game will be original. It'll be Pokemon SoulSilver! Gather Pokemon trainers from every corner of the world! The best generation of the series is finally going to have its own remake! I hope they won't change the game too much, either way it will be a big failure. So, these are my plans. What do you think? I know they ain't big deal, but I'm short in cash so it is a big deal.

Song of The Post

Today, instead of putting a song here, I wanna do some kind of rant. I know no one cares about what I think but I got a little p!ssed off when I was told I cannot listen to my radio station from Last.fm anymore. The site is owned by the same group that owns GameSpot and it's really amazing, but now, they decided that listening to random songs that are similar to the ones you like must be a paid service. This was free from the very start and now, it's paid. U$3 a month. I guess that's a little too much, since we cannot chose the songs we wanna listen to and we cannot download them. They're random. But, phew, money rules the world...

The Post Itself

I went to the dentist's on last Thursday, I had an appointment for my monthly brace's maintenance but when I got there, there was a paper on the door saying they were closed that day due to some problems. I was like "Motherf*ckers! Didn't even bother calling!". But whatever, I intended to pass by a game store and get two new games. The store is in the middle of the way between my home and the dentist's. I went to the dentist's by bus but I walked to the store (around 0.9 mile) and went it. They have a screen and a mouse so we can slide through games. I had money for only two games, but I wrote down ten numbers. Then I went to the other section of the stoe to pick the games and I waited, waited, waited, waited... Then another guy who came after me was heard before me and I was starting to get nervous. I'm very calm and all, but I was waiting for around twenty minutes. I went outside the room and talked to another attendant and he didn't do nothing. I went back to the room and waited for around five minutes. It was like that stupid guy wasn't seeing me. I'm kinda shy so I didn't say anything to him. Then I went out again and talked to another attendant, who was around 17. When he heard that I wasn't being helped he went inside the room already mad with the other guy, who was around 18 and he was like a really mad boss. I was going to get The House of The Dead: Overkill and Call of Duty: World at War. But their CoD:W@W wasn't working, so I got Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles instead.

I realized I'm wasting my time and money with fake games while those porch games keep getting more money. So I decided that I'm not buying games anymore. No more fake Wii games and no more original DS games too. Now I'll do things on my own, I'll get the games from the internet burn on DVD's, use the R4 card or whatever I gotta do. The money that I spend on game, be original or not, could be used for example to get a new console, or in this case, a new DS. Find out more on my next blog.

Our next Top10 is about those games that make you laugh, or at least, put a shy smile on your face now and then. Since this is going to be a blog about things that make you laugh, why don't you take a look at this video? It's a short (only 1:26) piece of a stand-up comedy show by Danilo Gentili, a Brazilian comedian and reporter from my favourite programme, CQC (shown in a lot of South American countries and some European ones too). This is not his best video, but it's the only one that has English subtitles. I went to his show when he passed by my city and it was fine. Not the funniest I've ever seen, but he's good live. Hope you like it or at least pretend you do.

10th: Crash Bandicoot

Nothing really really funny on Crash games, but the characters are charismatic and a little bit funny each one, what sums a funny game.



9th: Metal Slug

One of the most charismatic and friendly game series ever has funny environments and funny situations, like when the aliens kidnap that guy who looks like Saddam Hussein. Also, the first game of the series had an exclusive art gallery dedicated to that pretty woman of the training center... Phew...

8th: Pepsi Man

The ones who had the luck to play this great game probably have sweet memories of it. The game was basically about avoiding, jumping and crouching from objects while Pepsi Man would run to the end of the level. There were videos between the levels where a funny guy would be eating chips and drinking Pepsi. I found this video of the first level of the game, with a short scene before it.

7th: Bully

In my opinion, one of the best games from the PS2. Bullying itself is already cool (not in real life, though). The game was like a Grand Theft Auto inside the school and I have no words to describe its funniness (?), you'll feel it only when you play it.

6th: Worms

One of the best game series ever, but unfortunately, it's starting to rotten. Just look at Space Oddity and you'll get what I mean. Nevertheless, worms that have funny voices and kill each other is funny, isn't it? Also, the phrases that appear when a worm dies are really funny.

5th: The Sims 2

One of the games which I spent more time playing. Maybe only after Pokemon Silver and Pokemon FireRed. I used to come home from school and I'd start playing it at 1p.m. and would stop only after 7p.m.. That was five days a week, four weeks a month. The funny thing about it is how Sims react to certain situations and how you can generate these situations.


4th: World of Goo

Funny voices like those heard in Worms plus really funny signs painted by the Sign Painter, of course. The funniest character of the game (somehow he/she is the only one, that is, if you count him/her, because all you know about him is that he/she is who paints the signs) who always makes funny comments about the level and sometimes tell a short story about how the Goos happened to be there.


3rd: House of The Dead 2

Now this one is really funny. It did make me laugh for real. Okay, what's so funny about a terror game? It's trashy! Lemme quote some passages of the game. Just after you leave the library in the beginning of the game you find a guy crawling for help. You look at him and he says "I don't wanna die..." and... Pathetically dies. The worst part is that his voice tone is not of someone who is suffering... Simply said it. Just after that, a woman asks you to help a guy who's next to a well and being attacked by zombies. If you shoot him or simply let the zombies get next to him (what will make him fall inside the well), you (the main character) will turn around, go to the woman and say with an awful voice acting and without any sadness "There was nothing we could do.". The whole voice acting is horrible... Oh, and just after that, you'll be attacked by little frogs with teeth. Yes, frogs with teeth... Anyway, the game is trashy but it's good and I intend to buy it, since I had it only for a couple days, borrowed from my sister's friend.



2nd: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars

The whole GTA series is funny, but this one here is hilarious. The dialogues, the scenes, the missions. Everything. Once more, I cannot tell you how funny it is, but the ones who played must agree with me. There's even a place in Liberty City called ROFL with huge joke glasses on the sign :P



1st: WarioWare: Smooth Moves

There's no game that can beat WarioWare when it comes to funniness. The micro-games are amazingly funny 'cause they are so random and... Funny! I recommend this one to anyone who has sense of humour and I'm sorry for not being able to express its funniness, but this guy on the vid will help me. And don't miss 3:27 and also... Anyway, watch it if you have nothing better do to. Just watching it made me want to play WarioWare... Guess I'll do it tomorrow :D

No Song of The Post 'cause this is gonna be a rather long blog. if you want, skip the stats and just read my comments about some of them. I finished Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars today, but there's a lot to do yet, take a look at my stats. I took the screens from Rockstar Social Club, which is a great feature so you can compare your stats with your friends'. If any of you have GTA CW and can play online, please, leave your Friend Code in the comments so I can kill you a couple times.

Now behold my (not so) mighty stats! I'll comment only the most important ones, though.

Percentage Complete (57,05%) - Just a proof that completing the story doesn't mean you're done. The only thing I've done after completing the story was stealing an Ammo-Nation truck, what doesn't increase the percentage in nothing.

Number of times busted (6) - F*ck you pig!

Time in single player (14:49:02) - That's a little more than two hours per day since I got the game.

Times cheated (3) - What would be of GTA without the cheats?

Cockroaches squashed (6) - I never though that was counted.

Longest chase with a 6 star rating (00:00:00) - Don't know if that's because my game is not original, but when with a 3 star rating the frame rate falls quite a lot, I guess when you get 6 stars the game will become a turn-based strategy.

People burnt out (3) - 3? I only saw when I burned the cop... Anyway, it was amazing, I was holding the break and the accelerator at the same time and a cop was approaching, so I just let the breaker go and BURN! The cop was on flames! Cool, isn't it?

Near Misses (670) - Near misses are the times when you avoid bumping or crashing onto another car but get really close to it. The handling is kinda hard, so mastering the zig-zag driving is really important.

Made from drug trading ($420,935.00) - Do not try this in real life, kids.

Spent on scratch cards ($1,864.00)/Won on scratch cards ($3,285.00) - I wish real life were as easy as that... I even won a safehouse on a scratch card!

Shipments robbed (twenty-eight (stupid emoticon)) - It's fun and gives you ammo or even other surprises... I hate when there's nothing in the truck, but stealing it is already worth because of the fun you have doing it.

Accuracy (56.00%) - Uh... Leap before you think?

That's it. I hope my stats gave you hell. There's still a lot to do and I'll surely be playing this game for months and months. The review will probably come out next week.
