Don't know why I decided to use this phrase from Pirates of The Caribbean as a title... Anyway, surprisingly, GTA Chinatown Wars arrived on Wednesday. I was pretty happy, it took a lot more than it should, but it HAD arrived. After I oppened I had another surprise. The game is not original... Yeah, I bought it on eBay trying to avoid piracy but piracy found me... And the ones who faked it were so dumb that they put the ESRB rating as "Everyone". And the booklet and the cover's texts are about how this game was expected at E3 :D Anyway, it works fine and I'm having a lot of fun. I was going to post this on Wed but this game's so addictive that I found time to post only now. Yesterday I played from 12am to 11pm, only with some breaks to eat and have a bath. The game is really more than I expected and I'll surely write a review for it once I feel like I've seen everything. It also is very funny, the funniest game I've ever played. Tell you more on the review. I gotta go now, just received an email from a drug dealer that will sell some LSD for a good price, I'm heading there right now.

So, today me and two friends went to the cinema to watch Dragonball Evolution. Yes, I was already warned that the film would be xitty and so it was. I mean, the film itself is not that bad. If you compare the film with the animated series and the manga, the film is very bad. But if you don't, you'll see it's just bad. I'm a huge DB fan, mainly the Z saga and I rate this film 6.5/10. Wanna know why I gave it 6.5? The voice cast is the same from the anime (at least for the Brazilian version) and that was one of the few things that connected the film to the original series, 'cause even the title is wrong (Dragonball is not the same as Dragon Ball). Also, we have two Asian beauties and Bulma, who's not Asian and she ain't even beautiful... I mean, she's not ugly, but she has an odd beauty. Bulma is the girl in black, of course no one would know since she doesn't look like the original Bulma at all.

Today I also bought Tiki Towers from the Wii Shop Channel. It happens that I had 500 Wii Points remaining from my last purchase and I wanted something new. Alas, that was not what I got. I was going to get Equilibrio, that looks like Mercury Meltdown Revolution, but after checking some reviews here at GS, I decided to go with Tiki Towers. The fact is that the game looks too much like World of Goo. I'll make a review of it once I finish it, what's probably going to be sooner than I expect, 'cause after I played it for something like 30 minutes my save file was showing "20% complete".For now, I rate it 7/10.

I never though buying something through the eBay would be so troublesome. After a half month and a lot of worried messages to the seller, the deadline of this purchase came. No, the game didn't arrived. When I logged into eBay to check messages I got to know that the seller had left eBay. I opened a claim on PayPal but it seems like my Chinese friend is not reachable through PayPal as well. Now all I have to do is wait until April 29th and I'll win the claim. Don't know if this actually means I'll have my money back... I want this game so bad that I might get it from that Brazilian virtual store I quoted some time ago. Even though the price is high, they're reliable and ship real fast. Unfortunately I don't have money now... I'll buy it only if PayPal manage to get my money back. But this all left me a lesson: Never trust in Chinese sellers that seemingly sell games from factory, with free shipping to all the world and have picture of a pretty Asian girl surrounded by cherry blossoms... Shoulda know, shoulda know...

Most of you probably know or have already heard about The Pirate Bay. It's a site where you look for music, films or games and they bring the results to you. They don't actually have the files, they're just a bridge between the ones that want the files and the ones that have it. 'Course this whole beautiful sharing story is not legal and the owners of the site were convicted and should pay U$3,58 million to the enterprises who own the right of the films, games and songs. Also, they should stay one year in prison. It's not the end of the case, however. They say they're innocent 'cause the file trades don't happen in their domains. Be them guilty or not, I just got a torrent file from them and downloaded the album Phobia, by Breaking Benjamin. All the songs are pretty good so far, I still have 5 tracks to listen to.

And just to end the blog, I've watched Shoot'em Up yesterday and I really enjoyed it. It's the kind of film that I call a liar film, 'cause many things that are done by the characters are impossible or almost impossible to be done in real life. Anyhow, this is a good film that stars great actors and I recommend it to anyone who likes action films. I rate it 8.5/10.

Top10: CS Weapons

As some of you know, I'm kinda addicted to Counter-Strike, but these picks do for other FPSses as well. I was going to make something more elaborated for this post, like Top10 Strongest Characters or Top10 Coolest Characters, but that'd take me more time. But these two categories shall come out soon.

10th: IDF Defender (also know as Galil)

Unlikely its Counter-Terrorist counterpart (Clarion/FAMAS), the Galil is an extremely good weapon with good damage, good weight, 35 rounds capacity and low price. This modified AK-47 can also deal several damage to long range enemies, although, it has a high recoil.

9th: Leone 12 Gauge Super (also know as M3 or just 12)

This is one of the most powerful weapons from Counter-Strike, and like in any other shooting game, the shotgun is known for its large hitting range and destructive power for short range shootouts. The best way to use this weapon is asking for cover and rushing toward the enemy. But if you miss the shot, you'll probably be killed, because this weapon has a really slow firing speed.

8th: Krieg 552 (also know as TR's B-4-4, the keys to buy it)

This is an automatic rifle with one level zoom for farther enemies. Its capacity is of 30 rounds and it's a good weapon for both short and medium-long ranges. Even though the Krieg 552 is not as powerful as its CT's counterpart, the Bullpup/AUG, I prefer the Terrorist version.

7th: Krieg 550 Commando and D3/AU-1 (both known as Tec-Tec, due to the sound of their shots)

These two weapons are semi-automatic sniper rifles and both have a medium-high recoil. They have two zoom levels just like the other sniper rifles in the game. I don't use them very often, so I don't see much difference between them, but there are some differences: the CT's version is $800 cheaper, it fires a little faster, but weaker, it's really heavy (the heaviest weapon in the game) and has 30 rounds capacity. The TR's version is more expensive, it fires a little slower, but its shots are more powerful. It has 20 rounds capacity and an average weight. These two weapons are tagged like weapons for noobs but truth be told, they're really good weapons for new players and for good players.

6th: MP5 (also known as... MP5)

This weapon is seen in a lot of action films 'cause both in real life as in games, this is a great sub-machine gun. In CS it's cheap and has good capacity (30), good weight, good fire power, good firing speed, good everything. The perfect choice for the times when you're low on cash.

5th: Leone YG1265 Auto Shotgun (Brazilian CS players have a nice nickname for this weapon, related to its pumping movement, but I don't think I should post it :P)

Although its fire power is not as good as the other shotgun's, this baby here is better in some situations. It has only 7 rounds capacity, but it fires way, way faster than the M3. It's also better for medium-range shootouts. Of course, you should never use a shotgun for medium or long ranges, but if your pistol is zeroed, this one will do the job better than the knife, I guess :P

4th: Night Hawk .50c (most known as Desert Eagle/Desert/Deagle)

The best pistol ever and also one of the best weapons. This beautiful piece has 7 rounds capacity, what should be enough to take down some enemies, if used with wisdom. It has a great fire power and firing speed, a pistol's weight and a pistol's price.

3rd: Magnum Sniper Rifle (most know as AWP for typing/writing and AW for speech)

I'm not much of a sniper... More of a backupper/rusher/stealth invader/noob, but I can't deny, this is the ultimate weapon. With the highest damage of the game and two zoom levels, hardly ever its shots aren't one hit-KOes. The art of using the AWP is really appreciated by me. I have three friends who are AWP pros and sniper duels are really interesting. This weapon has a 10 rounds capacity and it takes a while to shoot again after a shot.

2nd: CV-47 (most know as AK-47/AK)

Known by a lot of people, be them gamers or not (even by my grandma), the AK-47 is the most used assault rifle by the bad guys in films and games. Great fire power, great firing speed, good capacity, and great for both short and long range battles. Its recoil is huge if you just hold the trigger, but if you learn how to use it properly, it'll become a loyal and deadly weapon.

1st: Maverick M4A1 Carbine (also known as M4A1 or Colt)

My favourite weapon and surely the most used by CS players from all around the world. This weapon appears in a lot of films as well, since it's the main assault rifle used by the U.S. army (or it's the M16?). It's not as powerful as the AK-47 and with the silencer on, it loses even more fire power. However, its recoil is not as big as AK's. It fires faster than its rival and it's cuter... I don't really know why, but that's the best weapon in my opinion.

I'm delaying the Top10 once more. Things at school are making me mad at the crew. I've been going to this same school it's been almost 11 years and they never were like that.

I'm going back to the old Counter-Strike addiction times! I found a nice American server where they play only glass maps, it's so cool! I love glass maps!

There's a girl (actually, a woman) who is some kind of second mother for me. She's from the South and I met her on the net a year and something like that ago... I really love her and I guess she loves me too, we're really like mother and son, but she was weird yesterday, she said she's not psychologically well, and I'm worried cuz I don't really know what's coming on with her.

My GTA CW hasn't arrived yet, and I'm getting more anxious as the days go by. Today a guy from my cl4ssroom was playing it on his girl's pink DS Lite, but since we're not real friends, I didn't ask him to play a little. But I shall ask her girl for kinda one minute of GTA tomorrow. I hope it's good.

I'm not feeling like getting a song for this post, I'm kinda tired, seems like this week will suck. Hope yours will be good and thanks for passing by.

But guess what. General updates. I said I was possibly going to post the next Top10 blog on April 5th, but due to some facts, I couldn't make it. Mainly because I was making this. A video using footage from Resident Evil 4 and Holy Mountains, a song by System of a Down. The song matches the game perfectly when you think of the villagers and stuff. The parts of the video that look old are are meant to look like that. Another reason that kept me off for some days was my internet provider, which had some of their systems invaded by hackers, who managed to mess with the DNS thing. Seems like things have come back to normal. I have already caught up to all your last blogs.

This week was okay, we had a kinda party in the cl455room yesterday. Not a real party, just some food and soft drinks, but we had some fun throwing little chocolate eggs at each other. Before you ask, they were made of that crappy kind of chocolate that doesn't taste like chocolate at all. As another fact to balance the week to the good side, my mum bought my keyboard yesterday. I'm still exploring it before I can make something, and I'll have to buy a MIDI cable if I want to record stuff on the PC. It's a Yamaha PSR-E213, a rather basic and cheap keyboard, but it does good for its price, I guess.

On the other hand, I also had two bad facts this week. Tonight me plus two fellows and a girl (who is my best female friend and I am fond of her) were going to go to an improvisation comedy show, which is really good and famous on YouTube, but the tickets were all sold out on Wednesday :( Also, my GTA Chinatown Wars game card haven't arrived yet. I messaged the seller and he/she said it'd take from 7 to 14 days for it to come, without counting the weekends... So since I purchased it on March 29th, it may take until next Thursday to arrive... Damn, I hate waiting. I guess that's it for this week.

This is one of the funny dialogues between Leon and Mike, the chopper pilot from Resident Evil 4. Guess what! I've finally finished it! And if the enemies and Saddler weren't a real challenge, on the other hand, Krauser, the jet ski and Renan were. Renan is a friend of mine that came to my place yesterday to play some Resident Evil. He had already finished it on the PS2, but since he's not used to the Wii controls, he used a lot of unnecessary ammo and grenades. Sometimes because he just didn't want to save ammunition by using the good 'n' old technique of shooting on the knee and then using Leon's body strength and knife and sometimes just for fun. I decided I wasn't saving the game because of the waste of ammo, but we had already made through a whole chapter. And when I realized it, I was ready to face Saddler for the last time and I hadn't saved the game since after the win on Krauser.

Anyway, I just killed the old man (and wasted a Rocket Launcher) and after the battle all I had was 9 rifle bullets, something around 20 shotgun bullets, a grenade and some recovery items. I got killed several times on the jet ski madness, but I managed to get out. I played The Mercenaries twice in the village and got only three stars... I used to play it a lot at my pal's, and I'll get four stars whether Ganados want it or not. I also started a new game and now I have plenty of Blacktail ammo and some shotgun ammo as well. I bought the Mine Thrower and I guess this time things will be way easier.

Yep, the virus of "tagging" finally caught me, and even though I don't like this kind of "chain" game, I'll post some facts 'bout me, cuz I think it's good that everyone know a little more about each other here.

1. I'm 16-year-old Brazilian boy (even with the Brazilian flag on the back of my blog's banner and the "BR", some people couldn't figure it out :P), and I live in a city by the sea, which has the biggest port of all Latin America.

2. I'm 1.94 meter tall (around 6.36 ft.) and I was the tallest person of my classroom until last year.

3. The best friend I've ever had was born in Japan, came to Brazil when he was 3 with his family and left to Argentina some years ago. It was him who introduced me to Pokemon and System of a Down, my favourite franchise and band, respectively.

4. I already wanted to be a lot of different things since I was born. Bus driver, game designer, video game store owner, musician, comedian, web designer, publicist and federal policeman, just to quote some of them.

5. I nicknamed three friends of mine when they started going to my school. These nicknames are like their new names, because everyone calls them by those nicks, including some teachers. One of these nicks is "Tio Patinhas" (Brazilian version for Disney's Uncle Scrooge) and "Timoty" (from Timothy Goes to School, but people prefer to use it without the "h").

6. I hate going out, I'm really lazy.

7. I've never hung out with any girl and I really don't care much about it.

8. I'm Spiritist.

9. My favourite film is the Pirates of The Caribbean trilogy (until now, hoping for the fourth).

I've seen some of my grades and gosh! I wasn't accurate at all on my last post. I guess I'm a failure in school, but I wasn't like this last year, I don't know exactly what's coming on... When I get all of them I'll post them here so you'll see what I'm talking about. This was the first scary thing. The second one is: I decided to look for Chinatown Wars on eBay and OH MY LORD! I'll be probably getting the game for U$17 with free shipping! Seems like the seller is reliable and all that stuff. I forced my mum to create an account on eBay and on PayPal, and she just have to check her credit card thing and input the numbers on PayPal and I guess we'll be ready for some shopping. I'm pretty excited about saving almost R$150 (the real is something around U$2,3, so do the maths, I don't feel like doing it right now). It's really scary how prices can be so different. And since I'm talking about scary things, let me tell you about some things that scared me in RE4. I'm in chapter 5-1, I guess I made quite some progress since my last post. So, I got really scared only three times until now. The first one was in the castle, I shot a guy that was standing there and he ran into some kinda house. I rushed after him, opened the door and he was right before me, but that wasn't what scared me. There were other three guys right beside me and I realized it only after one of them attacked me. The other situation that scared me was when I was trying to leave that garden inside the castle when three wolves jumped out the bushes and started barking and running around. Damnit! The third and last thing that scared me happened today. I was in a kitchen and then a burning guy got out some kind of oven and attacked me! I get more tense as closer I get to the end of the game...
