Hi, I have been trying to update my geforce 7500 LE video card twice but each time I install it and then it runs the install shield wizard it says something like " your system is not running on a 32 bit operating system. Installation will terminate". Now I have checked that my system is 32 bit and I have checked that my video card is compatible with the Nvidia graphics driver update. I downloaded the Nvidia driver off the U.K website of Nvidia, which was an international update. There was another Nvidia update on the american website. Should I have downloaded it from there?!

First off I do not own anyone of those games. But what I will say is that for quite a few P.C games you need an acess code. If far cry or those other games need access codes to pla them , then how are you going to get them? Also if you do get a free code is it wise plaing it online?

Ok thanks very much for the help. At the moment I have had no more crashes but vista has slowed down quite a bit since i first got it but suppose its slows down a little when you start exploring the OS a bit more and so more files are added to the computer. Thank you very much for the help. I just hope its a vsta problem.:)

Hi, I am annoyed because i have just bought a brand new powerfull mesh computer and i had it for a bout 3 days and then I was on it(nothing has been installed apart from the OS,windows vista) and it restarted itself and came back on and said "unexpected shutdown, problem has been resolved. I would just like to know what caused this and could it have damaged anything?? thanks very much if you can help.

Hmmm, well I have just bought a new power mesh computer with vista premium and I tried running bet on soldier(which I know isnt a very good game) just to test out my hardware. Guess what.....the computer freezes and you have to end the program. So bet on soldier is a definate no no. Although CSS and half life 2 work fine(so ive heard).

I know this is going off topic but I would like to know what can cause an unexpected shutdown as my new computer had an unexpected shutdown a few days ago. I could only think of a powersurge as it is brand new and no software has been added any ideas?? Thanks:)

your computer has good specs and I have had a similar problem to you aswell. I dont want to drag things on but my brand new computer crashed a few days ago and windows vista said that it had an unexpected shutdown and that it has recovered from it. Any ideas on this??(sorry if i am posting off topic but i need to know just in case it could be a problem)
