I also wanted to mention something else from GTA V:

playing mp and convincing a mate we'd do a run together, only to shoot him and steal his ride, leading him to come after me and opening up an impromptu "death match"...next thing you know, random players are jumping into our game and blowing shit up! Chaotic and hilarious.

Ingame: The Prism Ranger scene in Disgaea 1 always gets me, can't wait to get there in the PC version once again.

Outside the game: I always had a blast with Time Splitters 2 and the most fun moments there.

Loved TS2, a genuinely fun game that knew it was a game

Last weekend I managed to trick a friend in Civilization V to give me one of his cities with the clever use of a trebuchet, a single archer unit and the fog of war. Making him think I had a whole army that could walk all over him and giving me the city willingly would ensure a mutural alliance for the rest of the game. He was not amused when he discovered my trick.

And I thought Mario Party put a strain on friendships.

LOL that's a good one

Pretty self explanatory, so let me hear it.

I'll start by posting two if my funniest moments in gaming:

1. Playing Modern Warfare 2 online for the first time (greatest multiplayer ever!) and going in a 1v1 deathmatch with one of my friends and just camping for an extended period of time, then sending him a message saying "I can see you", he runs out and I shoot him up

2. Allowing the death of Michael at the end of GTA V and then carrying the game on, only to receive phone calls from worried family members about his whereabouts....I know it's twisted but I couldn't help but do a dastardly laugh.

FO3, especially with the expansion packs, can have you playing for hours and hours.

Plus, if you're a football or boxing fan, you can't go wrong with Fifa 12 (the best iteration of the game or Fight Night 4.

I said no but what I mean is yes/no. It's an ok console so far, MGS V was good but nothing special, Mad Max has been throwaway fun and the uncharted remasters are decent but with the added need to pay for PS Plus, you're essentially getting a watered down product.

Also depends on what kind of games you want to play? I have a PS4 too but haven't bothered paying for PS Plus so online mp is pretty much a no go area for me these days on my console. I still do it on the pc and in all honesty, if you're looking ti play together or competitively the pc is the way to go for online mp.

@jg4xchamp: Sterling never said Splatoon launched better- he said it was handled better, because we already knew how and when content would come, he said it was handled better because new content started coming in the day after the game launched, and he said there were no micro transactions and DLC. He did end with saying he would still call it Early AAAccess, but that he would call it Early AAAccess done right, as compared to the other games on this list.

there is no such thing as a full priced retail product being early access done right. thats just dumb.

This sums it up perfectly!

No game should ever be released, full price if it isn't going to provide you with the whole gaming experience (DLCs that add to that experience not withstanding). Sadly, this culture and ideology is now becoming extinct in the gaming industry because millions will still pay 50 quid for a pile of unfinished crap.

I don't replay that many games, obviously sports or fighting games come up.

I replayed the remastered Uncharted and am currently replaying Uncharted 2. Back on my ps3, I replayed Fallout 3, ME 2, ME 3, Skyrim, RDR (3 times lol) and GTA V. This gen, I doubt I will be replaying MGSV and have yet to do more than a few hours on Mad Max.
