@drev87 now their drm policy is the same as sony's, "we have no drm's except those that the game developers want to add to their games" so basically sony is not drm free like they say. Have fun with Diablo 3 on ps3 you'll prob have to be online at all times and all the good stuff will be on the real money auction house.

@ggregd he loved super meatboy which is one of the most challenging platformers I have ever played, but the controls are so smooth in that game that if you die its because you screwed up not the controls.

@ggregd @nigelholden @wavelength121 but super mario galaxy is different from super mario bros, or super mario 64 or paper mario or mario rpg, yes its the same character but its a different game, this game is the same game with voice overs added in, TMNT turtles in time was the same game with a new skin there is a difference between reskinning a game and using nostalgic characters in new games. Mortal Kombat put freddy krueger in their game but they didn't just reskin the old nightmare on elm street nes game.

@leikeylosh but he says its punishing in the wrong ways, like the controls not being as responsive so you may try and jump a certain spot but it doesn't react right and so you die by accident, super meatboy when you died it was because you did something wrong.

@miser_cz sometimes, but after playing more modern puzzle platformers I don't think this one is going to be nearly as fun for me as it was when I was a kid playing it on NES when it was one of the more advanced platformers on the system. Super Meatboy has far funner physics where if you die its because of your own mistakes not the controls, or braids time bending puzzles were far more complex and challenging than hit barrel against wall to jump over obstacle. This game was great in its day, but now its dated and what passed as new and great features are now old and rehashed features. Remember when FPS games were new and amazing and innovative and now they are old tired and boring cause we see it so much that its just a normal thing. Jumping on enemies heads is something we have been doing forever, stacking objects to get to higher places is something we have been doing forever this game is just one of the first that had these features that we see in almost all platformers nowadays the only thing this game has that most platformers these days don't is nostalgia.

@JustPlainLucas @Taxonomy and when pikmin 3 was first shown at E3 it was his favorite game at e3, then when he played it he was dissapointed it happens, we don't all like the same games. I think Too Human is an 8.5 Kevin thought it was a 5.5 does that mean Kevin is a shitty reviewer?

@miser_cz @stan_boyd the problem is compared to newer platformers that have been coming out this gen this game is really simple and shallow, the puzzles have no challenge and the platforming is very simple and basic. Double Dragon was awesome in its time, but better beat em ups are out there now that make it looks boring and shallow to new gamers, Top Gear was a great racer back in the day but newer better games are out there now, Ice Hockey was great in its time, but now we have better etc etc etc.
