To be honest, the abudence of ridiculous masculinity in the industry is a little gay You may see it as bad ass but just remember what gay men are attracted to... masculinity.

And to answer the question, I don't see how it would be a big deal. Few games deal with the sexuality of the main character and the ones that do typically allow you to be gay True, many of these games don't allow you to fit the stereotype of a flamboyant gay man but most gay people that I know don't fit that stereotype either. Most of them are normal, they just like dudes.

I have one 50% off any Valve title coupon and one 25% off any Valve title coupon and would be willing to trade for pretty much anything. Just make an offer.

How is Zelda blatantly immature?KevinButlerVP

are you serious? just play it, the whole theme of it is directed at kids

Already beat it 100%, now please explain to me how it is immature. Something isn't immature just because it can appeal to children, any Pixar movie is proof of that.

[QUOTE="RACiEP"][QUOTE="KevinButlerVP"] uh that defies logic, and it's not like playing Zelda and Mario make you more mature either... probably less so actuallyKevinButlerVP
*facepalm* Do I even want to try here? Okay, to quote the ESRB:

Titles rated M (Mature) have content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older. Titles in this category may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language.

M rated games have things like the above. One can be mature without swearing, viewing blood and gore, sexual themes, etc.

absolutely right, but when games like Zelda are blatantly immature it's different

How is Zelda blatantly immature?

In fact, most M rated games are pretty immature just because they treat mature subject matters with the mind set of adolescents. There are very few games which have anything close to true maturity in themes/storylines.

In time, once video games aren't just viewed as toys and as an actual art form, we may begin to see actual stories worthy of being included with the classics of literature or film.

[QUOTE="Slashless"] I did it in two trys. You jelly?

Renegade_Fury

Hmm how is that even....you joking right?

It took me maybe 6 tries? The key is to memorize the pattern and beat, and you'll eventually get it. I just barely got the piece of heart though.

It took me one try... you guys must be awful at keeping time :P

Ehhh... Tentalus was fairly easy but yeah TP bosses were all super easy. It's just his design didn't fit the atmosphere at all. I was expecting something epic but instead you're greeted with something straight out of Monsters Inc.

Totally agree, that fight agains the Dragon is one of the best Zelda fights ever thanks to the great setting.

shutdown_202

And the water temple, regardless of how much it reminded me of SOTC. :P

And the fire temple giant and the spinner boss and the giant spider. Actually, when I think about it, nearly every boss in TP was superbly done. Similar to SotC but not so much it loses its Zelda indentity.

SS beats TP in most areas, this isn't one of them for me.

Agreed. TP bosses were much better... they were actually epic and large monsters as opposed to (some) horrendously designed smaller creatures. That's not to say that some of the boss battles weren't awesome but most were lacking and I just couldn't get over the way some looked (Tentalus).
