It will be funny if he gets elected and his policies destroy many jobs as is predicted.

I know that his supporters will still blame conservatives and businesses though.

You may be too young to know this but there was this Republican president named George Bush jr. who totally wrecked the economy and conservatives still defended him. And when the next president was elected who you will know, Barack Obama, improved practically every measure of the economy conservatives said he was in fact destroying the country and we were never worse off! Politics is funny that way.

Blaiming the economic meltdown on one person speaks to a dubious method of thinking.

Thinking the economic improvement was a result of one person is insane at best.

Not what I was doing. I was taking your original comment and showing you the political flip side. It's hard to make your point with a straight face considering what's going on right now with Obama's critics and how they supported Bush.

You have a weird habit on constantly strawmanning and changing the subject.

@still_vicious: I got to be honest, the only time I hear about black lives matter these days is on this forum from people who clearly have an agenda against them.

What intelligent person would be for them? Like I said, they're screaming about nonsense while intelligent pro-black activists who opposed things like having children out of wedlock or promote education are quite by comparison.

Nice attempt to change the subject though. How about those links?

I apologize, I got the impression you thought links were unnecessary. I personally have no thoughts either way about the movement as i don't follow it. As for my point about positivity and addressing the issues (such as black on black violence, kids out of wedlock, education) in the black community:

I assume you have already heard of Dr. Martin Luther King jr. And Bill Cosby before the scandal. Spike Lee. And the rappers I posted a video of previously.

Your sources include a rapist and a blatant racist? smh...

This is all interesting, but it backs up what I've said, these things are pretty inconsequential, as in, things are not improving, there is no larger movement working toward improvement, and no net gains in terms of things I've mentioned.

@still_vicious :

Because so many are just so outraged that "lazy people" are getting money, countless good and hard working people will loose their homes. Doesn't matter how many worthy people get assistance, if one or two "lazy bums" get a dime we have to shut it down. Sad really. And corporate welfare is just fine.

I don't know about your twenty dollars an hour example. Where I live they get nowhere near that and I'm in super liberal Chicago. That said, 20 dollars an hour wouldn't buy you a shack to live in.

Assistance is one thing. Making it a way of life is another. We've seen so-called lifelines and safety nets become one continuous circle. Unfortunately it isn't only one or two lazy bums living off my dime.

Your mentioning of corporate welfare is just a way to distract. I doubt most people here would be in favor of giving tax dollars to multi-billion dollar corporations. Like most liberals, you seem to think one act of bad behavior justifies another and that is nonsense.

If you don't know about his $20.00 example, educate yourself. You can easily find out how much each state averages in terms of "welfare." People flock to my state and hop on the welfare rolls because the Democrats love to pass out "free" money since they seem to believe it grows on trees. Any effort made to crack down on such handouts is always met with the harshest of responses by the left.

It's easy to throw money at the issue rather than encourage people to work for themselves.

Wouldn't be so funny if it's your job that got destroyed or your tax being raised.

first one, na, my skill sets are too valuable, but my taxes could get raised and I'd be salty.

@still_vicious: I can give you as many links as you care to read of black people speaking out against black crime and not having kids out of wedlock and are pro education. I don't understand why you want to deny the positive things people are attempting to do? Pretending it doesn't exist or dismissing it as insignificant seems wrong to me.

Links? It's one thing to say it, but the voice that might exist is going to be a whisper compared to the BLM screams of idiocy.

BLM is a supremacy group.

Emotional outbursts aside, they are advocating equality not supremacy of one particular racial group.

I'm really starting to question that with what some of the leaders have said, and some of the actions of the followers.

@AlexKidd5000: Maybe they should work harder.

More victim blaming.

What's fun is that the real world doesn't really care, either work to improve your situation or you will fail.
