@nettuno: it depends on the type of battle. A one on one duel did commonly end within 1 or 2 movements. On the battlefield, in full armor, is a totally different environment, with varied weaponry. Individual skill also comes into play of course. But yes, your statement is generally true.
Just waiting for Ikaruga. I've beaten it at least 10 times between the GameCube and 360/Xbox 1 release, though I've been addicted to shmups on the Switch. Maybe we'll get Radiant Silvergun and other Treasure games if it sells? Buy it guys, pretty please?
@Donut0389: okay, so the games may look better on different hardware, but if they play like $#!+, who cares? Super Mario, developed by EA!? Maybe Ubisoft? No thanks, Nintendo first party games are continually some the highest rated games on the market. Zelda botw could look better, but if it's at the cost of the amazing gameplay, it's not worth it.
I hope the driving mechanics are a little better than Mad Max. Trying to do quick turns are much harder than it should be in a vehicle combat game. Having said that, i really enjoyed MM, and now I'm kinda hyped for this.
@Keivz_basic: sorry, metal gear revengence is pure action bliss. Pulling off blocks and chopping things into a million pieces never gets old. Underrated game imo.
Very different experiences. Two of my favorite games in a very long time. Zelda is amazing because you can really go anywhere, and climb anything. You essentially create your own adventure. The Witcher is a more story centric game. You get to live vicariously through Geralt, and be a badass. Both amazing, though Zelda botw is the game I'll probably go back to more often, because of the trail and error level of physics and possibilities. That doesn't take away from how much I enjoyed the Witcher though. 2 great, but different, games!!
Hmmmm, not sure, but I won't judge until it is finished. I did that with X-Men (Wolverine specifically), and Hugh Jackman was the best part of the movie. I did that with the Joker in Dark Knight, and we know how that went. Gotta give benefit of the doubt, for now.
@joshrmeyer: Very true. For a game this big, I don't read the review. I'll skim, but want as little actual game info as possible. I already have an idea of how it works, and I want to go in fresh. I'm just curious what's the overall consensus of the entire package. After I've played, I may go back and read, but I also understand the score is just an opinion.
