"Time to pick up that back and hit that Home Run!"

Jesus Christ, Gamespot. This is why no one comes to this website anymore. Hire some writers who don't rely on Grammarly to write their articles.

It's bad enough that Gamespot insists on plastering its front page with more articles about TV shows, upcoming movies, and of course WWE than video games, but clickbait articles like this, that have nothing to do with games, that are also absolute nonsense and trash journalism, is a new low for the website.

As someone who watched WWF, WCW, and ECW since their respective inceptions, there is a reason I no longer care about the current state of WWE and no longer tune in to watch. Saying that the Attitude Era, of all things, was terrible in comparison to today's WWE is laughable at best and trolling at worst.

Good job, Gamespot. You've set the bar even lower than I thought possible.

As a big fan of classic horror movies and Stephen King's work, I can say with complete honesty that this movie is without a doubt the best remake of a horror movie I have ever seen. While that isn't exactly a high bar to reach if you are a real fan of horror movies, I can also say that this is the best horror movie to come out in recent years. Yes, IT is that good.

I cannot understand those who are disappointed with the film. What exactly were you expecting? A psychological horror movie like 90% of modern horror movies that exclusively rely on jump scares, and obstructive camera angles? While this movie has it's share of jump scares, what makes them work in this movie is how it builds up tension beforehand. Many you will not see coming. It also excels at unnerving you with creepy and disturbing imagery. There's gore too, some scenes of which are to the extreme, but the movie doesn't rely on it too much like, say, Saw movies do.

By far the biggest improvement over the original is the pacing. It's still a 2 hour and 15 minute movie, but in no way does it feel like it. They keep the ball rolling from start to finish, with one well done scene of tension that concludes in something scary/creepy then it's off to light humor to break up the monotony and it's off to the next scene. The original dragged on and on and on, and part of that is to blame on it being an ABC mini-series.

Going in, my biggest reservation was in regards to Pennywise. Every single horror remake has failed to capture the magic of the original's villian (with Nightmare on Elm Street being the biggest offender here). I was expecting the same here. Bill Skarsgard does an amazing job with the character and gives us an IT we've never seen before. No offense to Tim Curry, as his performance is one of the only saving graces of the original, but Bill Skarsgard takes the character in a whole new direction that actually works. He's much more sinister and less funny and deceptive -- which is more faithful to the source material.

Overall, I highly recommend this movie. If you are sick of your horror movies being the same modernized PG-13 garbage it has been over the last decade, this movie is for you.

@Gelugon_baat: I am in the wrong business then. If I can play a game for a little bit, write up my thoughts on the game, and get paid for it, why not?

... except no one would read them when the standard expectation is of a full review. Could you imagine if movie reviews were done in the same manner?

I honestly skipped over this during E3 because I'm not a huge Dragonball fan and I was expecting this to be more akin to Xenoverse which didn't really appeal to me. As a fighting game junkie, this game looks impressive! It has the look and feel of the series while still appearing to have the depth of a true fighting game. A little surprised that Arc System Works is mimicking the Marvel 3 model quite a bit, but I can see they are still putting their own spin on things, like the clashes when someone goes down.

This game is now on my radar.

Nintendo, I think I ask a fair question here; why can't the US have nice things from you? Do you not like our money?

Well, at least now the SJWs can't say the pandering in video games is one sided.

@jako998: And yet still doesn't have all of the exclusives of the PS4 Pro...

If those don't interest you, and you don't already have an Xbox One, then by all means buy one. Otherwise, it's a waste of money.
