I am still not entirely convinced that the Wii actually exists. I have heard all this stuff about it, but I have yet to see one in action, or in a store, or anything besides those boring ones at Best Buy that aren't playable.
Not really. I tear up sometimes at movies though, if that counts. I know we watched "Saving Private Ryan" in history class once, and I can't watch that guy crying for his mother on the beach without tearing up. So if that counts, yes.
The right of the people to bear arms is so that the government cannot effectively take control of the people. Consider the size of our military versus the size of the entire population of America. The founding fathers knew that no standing army would ever become more powerful than a well armed populace.
The fact is, you cannot stop people from killing other people. There will always be people out there who will take advantage of the freedoms that we enjoy. As tragic as this event is and should be used as a lesson for the future, it is equally important to not lose perspective.

"Peace is the best security. If this phrase of the "balance of power" is to be always an argument for war, the pretext for war will never be wanting, and peace can never be secure." - John Bright (1811-1899)
The media tells us what to think. That is why most lightly-informed Americans favor the Israeli side, but I'm rooting for the Palestinians. easteast
You're "rooting" for the Palestinians? This is one @%&$ed up world we live in when we are "rooting" for certain groups of people to kill other groups of people.
