@corrus Yeah I really don't understand why people want a new, expensive console when The Last of Us looks so amazing.

The PS3 currently costs $250. The PS2 launched at $300 and the Gamecube launched at $200. Unless the PS4 plans on launching around the $200-$300 price point, I'm not interested. The Last of Us shows that the PS3's current graphics capabilities are still without a shred of doubt phenomenal. If you have to pay more, you might as well get a $500 computer that can do gaming AND everything else AND can be upgraded. Then you'd have a computer that truly "only does everything."

@Philly1UPer @Blitzkrieg129 A good gaming desktop only costs $500 and laptop $700 these days. Taking into account the fact that it runs games far better than on a PS3/Xbox AND does everything a high-powered PC can do, I'd say that's a pretty good deal. I love my PS3 for it's exclusives, but PC gaming isn't expensive and it's pretty awesome.

I would love a 3DS XL. Bigger screens, better battery life, better stylus positioning, and better comfort would be awesome.

I like Jack Tretton a lot but I'm not a fan of Scott Rhode. He's too bullish, needs to stop feeling so insecure about PlayStation and just chill out. Everyone just need to stop being so competitive overall.

So basically, you acknowledge that iOS isn't the first to come up with cross-platform play, but you praise it because it's popular. Then you say that Sony has a lot to think about, even though you already mentioned that it was going through great strides to make cross-platform gaming a thing. Yes, clearly the fact that Sony offers an open gaming network that lets games like Portal 2, Dungeon Defenders, or Phantasy Star Online 2 offer PC/PS3 cross-platform gaming is not doing nearly enough. Let's just pretend all the Vita/PS3 cross-platform games don't exist. Let's also forget the integration between Windows Phone 7, Games for Windows Live, and Xbox 360 through Xbox Live.

But never mind that YOU CAN PLAY IPHONE GAMES ON AN APPLE TV OMFGIJDOWADIJO! Think of all the cheerleaders I can play Draw Something with now on my 47" flat screen!

I don't care that I can play crappy smartphone games on a TV or computer with people who aren't gamers. The gaming community is not so desperate as to latch on to pathetic Farmville cretins and beg for spare change.

Though Nintendo has been reluctant to disclose any hardware information, the developers of the Wii U launch game Darksiders 2 have said that the Wii U is just as powerful as the PS3/Xbox 360. As with the Wii, the Wii U is a next generation console with last generation horsepower.

I don't mind. I buy a Nintendo system for Nintendo games. I couldn't care less about gimmicky motion controls or super realistic graphics.

The screen is resistive, of course it's not multi-touch.
