It's the 2000, I think.

PSP 3000 has a slightly better screen and a built-in microphone. To be honest I can't tell the difference between them.I prefer the slim because its battery lasts a bit longer. It'll be fine for you, I'm sure.
The battery life isn't great -- I get about 5 -6 hours of gameplay before I need a recharge. It's pretty decent if you aren't taking it on long trips or playing for ridiculous amounts of time.
Yup, it comes with a cable to charge the system.
I don't know where you live so I can't say where you can buy one. Most places with an electronics section or the Sony store have them.
Sony support is good but the PSP is a well-built product so I don't think you'll have to worry. :)
Not a ton coming up for it -- Patapon 2, an Assassin's Creed sequel I hear, and some others. There are tons of great games out for the system already -- God of War, Resistance, Syphon Filter, Twisted Metal, Daxter, GTA, etc.
The only people calling it major were internet sites that hyped it up without even knowing what the announcement was.
If Sony announces downloadable PS2 games via PSN on March 31st, I would go crazy and buy GOW1 and GOW2.
Which PS3 game(s) did you buy first? Which PS3 game(s) did you buy most recently? Which PS3 game(s) that you bought are your favorites? Which PS3 game(s) that you bought are your LEAST favorites? Which PS3 game(s) are you going to buy next?
Burnout Paradise
Assassin's Creed
Dragonball Z: Burst Limit
N/A
God of War III
Not sure. Considering Assassin's Creed.
It's a fantastic game. It takes FOREVER to complete and even then there's a ton of stuff you can do even after you do beat it. It's just a ton of fun to drive around and do crazy stuff.
And let's not forget the online play. Anybody who likes this game will say it's easily got 100+ hours of gameplay.
Sell the 360 for a brand new PS3. You can never put a price on getting a brand new product that you alone have owned and take care of. I would be suspicious of somebody who wanted to hawk a PS3 for a 360, anyway.
Go for the 80GB...it's brand new, and unless you absolutely need the extra space (which I find most people don't) being able to buy some extras is worth it.
My opinion, anyways.
Currently playing Burnout Paradise and Dragonball Z: Burst Limit.
