I'm still in Denver, Colorado and it is Friday 4/27. I will still tell you all about what we did in Denver once I get back home to El Paso on Sunday morning. For now, though, I'm just gonna make a blog about the movie reviews. Also, today was my Senior Ditch Day at my school back in El Paso. Apparently, my Senior Ditch Day was spent in Denver but that's okay though... I had a lot of fun :) I'm sorry if it seems like I've been absent on this website for the past few days. I've just been busy at Denver and did many things so yeah... I have not been absent on this website, however. I would quickly read through a few blogs and comment on them and just see how things are going. Of course, I have my Android smart phone as well so I can check on this website through my phone as well :) This blog will NOT end with 5 pictures
Chimpanzee movie review
You all know about Disney making a nature movie for Earth Day and I enjoy watching those movies every year. This year for Earth day, it was a nice Disney Nature movie about chimpanzees and I thought it was a very good documentary about it. It was so cute and it was funny. There were a few things that I never knew about chimpanzees until I saw this movie and it made me say "Really? I didn't know that". It's just a very cute movie about the what that little chimpanzee Oscar has been through after the death of his mother and how he became an orphan until one chimpanzee decides to adopt me. In the end credits of the movie, they show the documentary crew and how they capture all of the shoot in the movie and it was actually funny... watch the end credit to see why but what one of them said was "That chimp taking in Oscar and adopting him took my breath away and it was incredible". I gotta agree with him, it did take my breath away. It scenery throughout the whole movie was just so beautifully done. Tim Allen is also the narrator for this movie and he did a terrific job narrating this movie. I love Tim Allen so I was glad that he actually narrated this one. There were also some funny things Tim Allen said as he was narrating the movie. Disney Nature's Chimpanzee is a very good time with an incredible story about that chimpanzee Oscar and how much his life has changed... only gripe about this movie was that it was only 1 hour and 15 minutes long so I don't know if you want to pay a full price to see a movie that short BUT either way, it's just a very cute Disney Nature movie in my opinion and I'm sure you'll appreciate and enjoy it as well.

John Carter movie review
So since my aunt felt like this movie wasn't going to be appropriate for my 8 year old cousin. We waited later on watch this movie and caught it at the 7:00pm showing. Okay, I read the movie reviews from critics and it was MIXED... it was close to being rated as an AWFUL movie though so this movie BARELY made as a MIXED OVERALL movie from critics. Also, the users said how this movie wasn't too bad and some actually said that this movie was awesome. I wasn't too crazy about the movie when I saw the trailer of it. I'm walking in this movie thinking it was gonna be good because of what most of the users and some of the critics have said about it. Okay, what do I really think of this movie?....... it was BAD. I'm sorry, I thought that this movie was going to be good but I came out of the theater extremely disappointed... it was just NOT a very good movie. Unfortunately, my mom is the only person that liked the movie (I really don't know why and it surprised me because my mom and I usually have the same agreements/disagreements on movies). My aunt thought it was okay AND my brother, my cousin, and I all agreed that it was bad. Now I can see why Walt Disney Studios lost $200,000,000,000 from "John Carter". Why was this movie so bad. Okay first of all, the first 50 minutes of the movie was just completely rushed all the way through and stupid, cheesy, and random things happen second by second. Also, they really rushed the beginning, John Carter comes to Mars after 15 minutes of the movie plus it happened out of nowhere. Like John was on Earth and then transports to Mars half a second later... what the heck?. For the first 50 minutes of the movie... all of the cheesy, stupid, and random things that happened in the movie... my brother, my cousin, and I (all three of us would look at each other) and say "WTH?". After 50 minutes of the movie, the movie was less rushed but it was still stupid, random, and cheesy. For a while, the middle did make a little sense but the director completely screwed up the whole point of the movie as it got close to the ending. Like seriously? the ending wasn't very necessary to me and just made me say to myself "Wow!!! that was stupid". Andrew Stanton who is the animated director for "A Bug's Life", "Finding Nemo", and "Wall-E" directed this movie.
Okay he directed three terrifically made animated PIXAR films like these
but yet directs a very choppy, rushed, horribly written, ugly-looking, lackluster of a movie like this
I believe I have proven my point from there so yeah. I'll admit, I did laugh a few times and there were a couple of scenes that got on my good side for at least a few minutes or less and I will tell you but it will be spoiler alert so skip through it if you haven't seen the movie or just don't plan on seeing the movie at all
*SPOILER ALERT*
-The scene with John Carter fighting all those of green aliens by himself and how he was flashbacking to his wife and his kid and that they were found dead as he went to the burned house and buried them as he was fighting... I found that part to be pretty sad and it's probably the best part of the movie
-This one isn't as good as the first one I told you but I found this to be decent and it was when those aliens were using the guns at the last battle scene of the movie... I just liked that western feeling to it when those aliens were using guns, I found that to be pretty cool
*END OF SPOILER ALERT*
Other than those two parts I actually or at least KINDA liked plus a few laughs... this movie just could have been so much better. I am very sorry if I am sounding harsh in this movie review but it's just how I felt. I was also excited about it because of the fact that Andrew Stanton is the director for it and he was FAILED big time with this one and let me down. The acting in this movie was so horrible and irritating to even look at. The storyline was awful as well... this movie did have the potential to be good but it was wasted big time. So yeah, back to the acting, I saw a few actors on the end credits that I was familiar with but I didn't know who each of them played as though. In my opinion, the ONLY good actor in this movie was Bryan Cranston and he played the role of Powell... only thing that stunk though was that he was only in this movie for about 5 minutes and then that's it but he played out his character very well and here is a picture of Bryan Cranston as the character Powell in the movie "John Carter"
One thing I want to mention about the movie before I finish it up was that the special effects were pretty cool. I liked how they weren't advanced or anything if you know what I mean. To end this review, "John Carter" while it does have a couple of good/decent scenes and a few laughs plus the special effects being pretty good and not advanced, it doesn't really helped the fact on how horrible this movie was with an awfully written storyline, horrible acting, ugly-looking picture, and just doesn't make a point to it and just doesn't make sense and I'm also sad to say that this is the WORST Disney movie that I have ever seen, it's NOT the worst movie of the year 2012 but it's down on my list as ONE OF THE WORST movies for the year 2012... a waste of time. :(
