@Mirimon78: Nintendo doesn't care, if they wanted to compete with Sony and MS in terms of hardware they would. It's obvious they prefer to do their own thing, pass or fail.
@Dantes0007: Just because you don't see the value doesn't mean others won't.
These days you don't buy a Nintendo product expecting a PS4/XB1 experience,Nintendo has made that clear for over 10 years now they're doing their own thing now, hit OR miss I doubt they'll change this any time soon.
I've been harsh on Nintendo consoles for the last two generations, but the Switch has my interest. Anyway, here's an idea, don't buy it, but don't presume to think your opinions line up with everyone else's when it comes to value.
@Donut0389: Yea, not sure when the last time was you played a PC game but it's nowhere near as bad as you're making it out to be. I've 50+ games on PC and out of them all I've only had trouble with a few, and they were fixed in minutes, and the worst one out of my library just recently got patched and works great (GTA4).
The Wii was an exception for sure, but it was proof with the right type of innovation people will buy, even casuals, and this is the direction Nintendo has chosen Will the Switch be the next Wii? No, will it turn out better then the Wii-U? I've zero doubt it will.
@lonewolf1044: Except the majority of the feedback coming in is from booger eaters that have yet to realize the market Nintendo has been trying to reach for nearly 10+ years.
@The_Last_Paladi: Not really. Given what it is and the fact it's a brand new product, it doesn't bother me or surprise me at all.
Now the XB1 being $500 at launch and forcing you to buy a stupid bundled in Kinect with hardware still pumping games out at 720p was a reason to be pissed.
@Donut0389: Not many people are looking for innovation and uniqueness? That must be why the Wii is one of the best fastest selling consoles in history.
Come on man, if you're concerned with hardware performance and power either wait for Scorpio or better yet, build a PC.
Console gamers need to stop worrying about power this and power that, consoles are always behind, even at release, and seeing as his Nintendo has made it clear they aren't focusing on having the best hardware, it's beating a dead horse to complain about it.
Hell, the Scorpio is already outdated compared to PC hardware and it's 10-11 months away.
