@maximo: 720p is for the handheld portion of the console, which at that size is perfectly acceptable, when docked I wanna say it'll display resolutions up to 1080p.
@maximo: Exactly, so why do people have a problem paying $300 for this? It's a new console, it offers up two ways to play (mobile or docked), and it's made by Nintendo, a company with a history of creating some of the most reliable consoles out there.
$300 isn't a "premium" price, it's nowhere near what I would consider to be a price paid for a premium product, in fact, $300 is about as entry level as it gets for a new hardware release, so people getting upset about it is a bit baffling. People act as though Nintendo should've priced this thing at $200 or less.
@Donut0389: Nintendo isn't competing with anyone, figured that to be obvious given they aren't concerned too much with having advanced hardware as much as they are trying to innovate and be different.
