For hundreds of years, the legend of Bigfoot has been a subject of intrigue, with many sightings reported in remote areas worldwide. The tall half-man/half-ape is known as Bigfoot in the United States, Sasquatch ("hairy giant") in Canada, and Yeti or Abominable Snowman in the Himalayas. Covered in long fur, Bigfoot received his name from stories of huge, human-like footprints, up to 18 inches long.
......yeah  So I would definitely consider this one of the weirdest blogs I've ever done  My sister and I went Christmas shopping today, and we saw this man that reminded us a bit like Bigfoot, so I felt inspired to write this blog
The chocolate chip cookie was inadvertently created in 1930 by Ruth Graves Wakefield at the Toll House Inn in Whitman, MA. Lacking baker's chocolate for her cooke recipe, she substituted a chopped semi-sweet chocolate bar, expecting it to melt into the batter during baking. The chocolate didn't melt, and the cookie became an instant American cla$$ic. Ruth received a lifetime supply of chocolate for the rights to publish the recipe.
Man! I sure wish I could have been Ruth! Who wouldn't want a lifetime supply of chocolate!?
Now I'm really hungry!!! MUST HAVE COOKIES!!!!!
Because of their intelligence and playful ways, dolphins are one of Mother Nature's most fascinating creatures. Roman, Greek, and Celtic stories feature their amazing ability to communicate with each other and tell miraculous tales of dolphines rescuing drowning humans. Because of this friendliness to man, dolphins represent the peace, harmony, and tranquility that can be achieved in life.
So, my sister is a cashier at a store called Kohl's. She had to work when they opened this morning, and she witnessed some woman sprinting through the store, running into a sign, and falling flat on her back  She wasn't hurt, so that's a good thing  I wish I could have been there to see that  Does anyone else have crazy stories from shopping today? :D
My sister and I desperately need your help! :( She is doing this survery for a class of hers and she needs to ask 25 people she's never met before :( Can you guys help her? This is all you need to do:
Today was the first day I got to go to my new internship site! :D Since I wanted to be an elementary teacher at that time, I signed up to do an internship with my favorite teacher ever :D :D :D
I was really nervous at first because I didn't know if the little 4th graders would like me or not :( I was also afraid because I didn't want to make a speech or introduce myself or anything like that. That good news is I didn't have too :D I got there 10 minutes early, so I had to find my own way to the classroom :( Mrs. Curtis (the teacher) obviously didn't tell the people working in the office that I was horrible with directions  :( They just told me the room number  I got lost  Twice!!! In an elementary school!!!
When I eventually did find the room [], I knocked on the door and hid so they couldn't see me through the window  A little girl answered the door and said hi. When I said hi back, she let me in. Everyone was staring at me!!! :o Mrs. Curtis stopped talking and just stared for a bit. Then she walked towards me commenting on how much I'd changed and how great I look  We shook hands, then she introduced me to the class. They said hi, then I said hi and that was that  I got to sit in the back of the classroom and "observe" the goings ons  They learned spelling, social studies, and reading. Their "daily sentence" was about my arrival and little bit about me as a person
The kids kept looking back at me, smiling, and then got to work again  Some just stared :( That was really uncomfortable
One thing I thought was funny was that Mrs. Curtis uses some of the same worksheets I used when I had her for a teacher :o I got some of my memories back too!!!
There was this one little chubby cute kid who was ecstatic about my arrival and wanted to give me a tour of the library and school  He forgot though  When he came back to the room, Mrs. Curtis reminded him of his offer and his eyes got huge and he apologized mulitple times  It was so adorable!!!
This is going to be so much fun!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
I saw Twilight today!!! :D :D :D It was really good :D Funny too! I'm not going to say anything more about it because I don't want to ruin anything, but I just thought I'd mention that it was really good
