@R4gn4r0k That's true, but that was when their player base was small. Now that they are one of the highest selling games, their primary goal shifts from trying to gain more fans, to trying to keep the millions that they already have. Therefore, it's not smart business to radically roll the dice on a completely new formula because you have a much higher chance of losing customers than you do of gaining customers. Other companies are the problem with the competitive multiplayer stagnation. It makes sense for other companies to try and find a new formula, because they are still trying to gain a consumer base. Making a less-known, less-played clone of a well established franchise like COD or BF really makes no sense.

@mikemaj82 ... that's still 730,000 x probably an average of $30.00 = $21,900,000.00 ... if you don't think it's worth their time to earn 22M dollars, you have a strange perspective on value..

The odd thing is that in my experience, my fellow Canadians are normally more sarcastic and enjoy dry humor even more than Americans do... This lady must have tabs on lots of her neighbours too...

@ewjiml @bluefox755 yelling 'bomb' on a plane is intentionally inciting panic... hence, it's a crime... using hyperbole to talk to your friend on Facebook shouldn't incite any panic because the only people that should be reading that comment should be the people who know you and understand that you aren't serious (especially with the lol, jk).

@SoulScribe @Hellknite190 Agreed.. It's almost like being accused of being a communist during the cold war or of being a witch in the middle ages.. Paranoid stupidity..

@ewjiml @tushwacker it's true that he shouldn't joke about stuff like that, especially given recent events... but common, how many times have we all seen fake/sarcastic murder comments on the net? and if the dad is telling the truth about how the comment was written, who could honestly take him seriously? jokes are made in bad taste all the time. A public reprimand would be more that enough punishment.. not jail time.

wow.. both to my nosy fellow Canadian citizen who obviously has too much time on her hands and no concept of sarcasm, and to the U.S. legislative system for actually arresting someone on such stupid circumstances..

If they were smart, they would allow steam games and steam friends lists to be linked through their service (without much hassle). If you could see all of your steam friends and origin friends in origin, and if you could launch all your games including the steam ones from your origin games list, then people would likely have origin open more often. The more it is open, the more people will see the advertisements/sales that are posted on there. They just had BF3 on for $5.00 and it took days for me to know the sale was even happening because unless I'm in the mood for ME3 or BF3, I never open their program.
