Blog 13: Game update

Well I've finally reorganised my games collection! I've put about 50 Megadrive games, 100 PS1 and 6 consoles away in the loft. This may appear suicidal, but every game and console is air sealed, and then placed in a black bag which is then in a box. That should keep the damp out, as well as keeping the games in good condition.

On a personal note, I'm going to play Disc 2 of CVX on GC today, and maybe this time I'll reach Chris's part. Hmm, I only have 2 1/2 hours before I go out for a meal, better make it quick!

Random update...

Check out my Resident Evil Code Veronica X on GC review - its like a proper review based on all 3 Code Veronicas (which I have all completed) - N.B. that I am going through CVX on GC again - I completed my mates at his house and am playing it again to complete it on my own personal glory.

Blog 11: Onto Disc 2 of CVX!

Yes I've finally finished CVX Disc 1! It means that I'm in Antartica, and just starting the final episode. There were a number of wierd things that I found throughout the game:

1. With the secret door to the Private Estate, whats the numbers thing for? The blue bright buttons I mean.

2. The lack of shotgun and the Bandersnatchers means that it's rather tough. You can't run from them, and they always hit you.

3. I killed the Tyrant first time around in 45 seconds :)

4. Killed the Tyrant second time around in 15 seconds :D

So...a rather enlighting experience I'd like to say. RE CVX is certainly an awesome game, and with GC controls its even better!

Blog 10: CVX so far...

Well I'm about to go into the Ashford Private House, and so far I've not shot one bowgun bolt. Pretty proud of that :) I got further then I anticipated. I really forgot how long the game is lol.

Anyway I'm going to go and tidy my room.

Blog 9: Starting another Resident Evil

So after finishing RE2 with an A Rank, I decided not to pursue Scenario B for the meantime. But, I've decided to give Code Veronica X on the GC a go! So far I'm at the Ashford estate, and I'm at a point where I can't remember where to go. I got the briefcase that requires a lockpick, and I've closed the shutters after seeing the Stretch arm Strong thing kill a scientist. All is well, so I may have to look at a guide before I get back to business. My aim today is to finish Claire's part of the story and to get to Chris, but I reckon itl take longer then predicted.

Blog 8: Finished Resident Evil 2!!!

Well as you can guess, I finally finished RE2 on the GC! That means I can finally go onto Claire's 2nd Scenario, and complete the whole game on the GC! But not only did I finish Leon's first scenario, but I got an A rank with a time of 2 hours 36 minutes! That's my best so far on RE2, and I really thought I screwed it up lol. Check out the photograph of it, I took one of the end sequence and my score is uber cool 8) So yeah I'm a very happy bunny and I'm going to play Scenario 2 with Claire. So far so good! :)

Woo finally Level 3...

I've become Level 3 woo! That means i can post images, and therefore will be posting some of my game collections. This will include the newly completed RE GC collection, many games that I own, every RE game I have, rare games that I have, as well as oddities that I own.

I've finally finished work, and so can begin playing games! Although my room does need a bit of a tidy, but apart from that I can play games! I WILL finish RE2 by today :)

random update

Just sitting here waiting for Britain's Got Talent, and watching Paul Potts old shows. OMG has he got an amazing voice, I really want him to win this show. He's story moved me the most and he is by far the BEST act.

Anyway off to wait and play Theme Park until then.

Blog 5: A New Week

Well I've just come back from my gfs house, and am ready to play more RE again woo! Over there we played some 42-All Time Classics, bit of Phoenix Wright and golf on the phone (its actually rather good!). We went to Camden Market to get some clothes, and I saw 3 rather nice shirts. They weren't Resident Evil ones :(....but they were game related :)

The first one has a picture of a PS2 controller saying 'Addicted', which was rather cool. The second was one where man evolves into an arcade and it says ' Insert Coin' in rather retro fonts which was uber cool. And my favourite was of Luigi and Princess running with the words 'I scored with the Princess' on it :). This is my favourite one by miles :)

So anyway, I'm going to have another go on RE2 on normal mode tonight, and maybe get to the second boss. I was aiming for an A ranking, but it seems like I'll be going for B or C as I went to the Clock Tower without the crank, and then had to go all the way back and get it. Silly things like that annoy me.

Anyway another update tomorrow!

Blog 4: Morning all...

Well its about 8am and I've woken up after playing Theme Park last night until 1am. I feel kinda wound up because I can't complete the first level - the visitor's are never happy, I never have enough money and I'm forever hiking up the prices of tickets, cola and fries.

I was also playing RE2 last night, I was itching to play Theme Park on DS so I saved before the first boss. I picked up the Sub-machine gun, and hopefully I'll be able to finish it by monday. :) It's such a classic game, and I feel like it's all new again. Reason being? I've played so many RE that I can't quite remember where classic items such as the Crank go LOL :D Capcom use them all the item in almost every RE, and I don't know where straight away. But I manage :)

Anyway I got my delivery of rather nice RE4 bags, like the ones in the shops, along with a mini poster and a booklet from ebay. Only £2.00 + P&P. Something else to add to my collection.

I'll get a pic up once I've become level 3 lol.
