Why won't my AVG scan pick up the virus?

AVG is no good. Even if you have a good antivirus, the best ones only detect about 65% of new viruses.

[QUOTE="unholymight"]Are you using Vista? Answer me this, and I will see if I can do something about it.hoosin91

I am using XP home.

Check if you have a restore point for system restore. A good antivirus might get rid of three quarters of the viruses and will not fix damage done to your browsers and possible system files. A system restore works best.

The Vista system restore works best, though. I'm not sure about Windows XP.

[QUOTE="Democratik"][QUOTE="unholymight"][QUOTE="Democratik"] you are either lying or are misinformed. having linux as a backup operating system is a great idea for this reason.

There are not just 2, but 4 possibilities here: 1) I am lying 2) I am misinformed 3) You are lying 4) You are misinformed Or, it could be a combination of any of these.

i love you

Well, that's the first time anyone ever said that to me. I shall treasure this moment. Thank you.
