See, beside my school there was a hill with a Hut on top. I lived in that Hut.

The treadmill rocks because the next time I get into some type of danger I can just run away, but if I were good at biking I would need to go to the nearest Wal-Mart, buy a bike, and then escape.

Me thinks you get rid of this if you enable IN PRIVATE BROWSING

look here how

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/readiness/new-features.aspx

pecanin

But then you have to run it every time. I want it disabled PERMANENTLY!!!

Sorry either delete it or run IPB

i hate Satansoft because of all this crap

they put in their OS

i'll try something else and post later if it works;)

I've checked in many places, it seems no solution to be found. There are probably obscure solutions with the registry, but these are obscure and without some windows experience I can't solve it right away. It seems the only solution is to manually delete history from IE each time. What's annoying is that like I said earlier, it also records files downloaded using other browsers, even when Internet Explorer is never running.

Yes, but as a theory as well with sensible counter theories, it's a pretty big deal.

Gambler_3

Except there's not really any counter theories, if you have done ANY study in advanced biology.

lol wut?

You havent read about the greatest theory ever GOD DID IT!!?

LOL I thought there was a difference between scientific theories and non-scientific theories??

The problem is that it's a shared computer. I can't take it off, which makes it such a pain.

don't use it then. install a different browser.

I don't use it. But like I said it records the stinking history even if IE is never opened. I use Firefox all the time, but even when I download any file with Firefox, the history gets recorded there in IE! I mean how ridiculous is that?

Oh and I'm certain this problem gets faced by everyone with an updated version of IE. Most likely they just didn't notice it.

If you don't know what I'm talk about,

1) Open a text file.

2) Go to Internet Explorer > History > My Computer. You'll find the text file there.

This is a pretty dumb feature and I want it off. It does this with every file you open on the computer even if you don't use Internet Explorer. Is there anyway to turn this off, or turn off history entirely for IE 8?
