No it doesn't. That was an unsuccessful and somewhat naive attempt to summarize something by looking at only one aspect of it.

I'm going to have to throw in with you.

Throw in with me?!?! This should be interesting, that is if Sajedene wants to respond. I'm not even sure if she takes this seriously.

[QUOTE="unholymight"][QUOTE="Sajedene"] It makes people feel better to belittle that that they do not agree with so as to assure themselves they made the right choice (hoping that they did). This goes for everyone.Xx_Hopeless_xX

No. If it were that simple, people would be arguing with each other about their favourite video game (which is also a belief), and this does not occur.

Yes it does..all the time...hence, System Wars..

Not to the extent at which religion is debated. Ever wonder why favouring a religion is politically incorrect yet favouring a video game is not nearly as politically incorrect?

Well I can't but help but be worried about websites such as these appearing so near the top in Google's search results for "the theory of evolution": http://www.albalagh.net/kids/science/evolution.shtml

[QUOTE="Democratik"][QUOTE="unholymight"][QUOTE="Stumpt25"]But Greek values of democracy were tied in with state run slavery. It was only until Christianity's influence that slavery was abolished. You can talk about serfdom all you want, but it still isn't the same principal as slavery.

So, during the 1800s in America, Christianity didn't exist?

hes saying that christian morality is what eventually lead to the ending of slavery. theres no real proof that it wouldnt end anyway. serfdom is slavery, too.

I know what he said. In the 1800s, there was both lots of Christianity and lots of slavery in America. This information shows that his point is wrong.

Christianity once said the Earth was flat, and kept anyone from proving this wrong (Galileo). This attitude towards science and observable evidence alone would say something about that.

Well, I gotta say that as a video game, I'm pretty jealous. No one has proposed to me yet.

I am an alien. The humans who have met me have been changed forever. Err, I mean their lives. Only their lives.
