absolutley - i remember when psp came out people who flocking to buy it and sony touted it as beating the ds. It is superior to the ds hardware wise and for awhile consumers ate the usual stable of final fantasy, tekken and metal gear crap that is familiar on almost every console sony brings out (it seems they have trouble developing new ip since they even started with ps1 lol). But lo and behold nintendo WITHOUT third party support churned out innovative titles like nintendogs and brain training. Yes sony, i know its hard to believe, but not everyone wants to get YETANOTHER final fantasy, tekken and metal gear - now the DS is absolutley thrashing the psp in almost every territory for quite some time.

Depends on how much supply they have. If Nintendo can match the demand, than I have little doubt that they can win. However, there's a good chance that Microsoft's greater availability, and Halo 3 could win it for them.Tylendal

i agree. Supply is going to be a major issue especially since the wii is very popular in japan compared to the 360 meaning the US/europe may not get as much wii as demand dictates. This could play very well into microsofts hands as if there are no wii's available, parents are going to have to buy their kids something.
