If you don't count me working for the biggest names in the business (like samsung) and being a developer (a while back) then no. I'm sure i'm older you anyway. Still it has nothing to do with this. As i said before its called strategy. No please stop trolling.
@DarqStalker: True, my finger was in a way pointing to GS who makes these nonsense articles.
And i dont care who has the best since i usually buy all consoles. And i dont care about "native" 4k. As long as it looks nice and delivers. Hell PS4 is still great and the Pro has more then 2 times the power so i'm excited. MS is a year away atleast.
But i got to say i feel more and more like MS is more and more moving towards a PC. So if i have PS4 Pro and PC i will be getting most of the games anyway. So all and all i'm excited about Scorpio but when i think more i'm not sure i will buy it still. Specially if they go ahead with the thing they talked about, that the games will be available both on console and PC when you buy on one platform. We have to wait and see.
"There is a lot of time to go, but we feel good about how the things are coming together,"
That is sad to hear them talk nonsense and make headlines. That line right there means they should keep shut unless they have something worth saying, like whats the hardware and when exactly is it coming. Right now they are scared of PS4 Pro so they keep talking nonsense.
True, that is why i buy the best parts (or at least the best i can afford) so i don't have to upgrade for a few years.
And having more cores don't do anything in games, actually i saw a performance comparison video on youtube where a 5 year old CPU i7 2700k give the same framrate as i7 6700k. Of course the GPU was the same. Once you get past some point CPU won't help much. To get multiple CPU's is pure and simple stupidity. I don't call it elitist i call it stupid. I would rather get 2 titan X which is better. My CPU is the 6 core version but i got it mostly for productivity not gaming as it won't help in that area. For gaming it won't even get over 20% or so.
And again mate i don't care what i'm called, i like to think of myself as a gamer :)
I have pretty much bought every console that has came out since 8bit era and also i have built PCs for a long time. Guess what i will buy next ;)
Its a great time to be a gamer to be honest, so many awesome games and so many choices. Remember back in the day where there were like 1-2 game that you would wait for. Now its almost weekly we get top games.
On that note can you read? i said i don't care about being elitist or whatever.
I commented something @horizonwriter said. And again if you have kids running around and a wife that is fashion oriented you can't have a big fat tower in the living room, fact of life. And i don't read he 600 post just to find your mention of where you keep your pc. But you did not say if you have kids :)
SO yes i do love my PC but i do enjoy PS4 games allot too. Who say you cant have one without another. But to be honest some of the later games i will for sure play on PC specially now that its new and all, like Doom i'm playing on PC, will get Shadow Warrior2 on PC but FF 15 will be PS4, same with Mass effect, it depends on the game really.
And Bloodborne, man i feel sorry for you people who don't have consoles, that right there is a epic game your missing out on.
