It seems these companies always try to make a big deal over the most minute things so now a days when they actually have something really important to announce it gets lost in the shuffle.
Sorry about that. Looking back on the first sentence of my previous post I realize now that I should have probably omitted the word “conflicting.” More than likely this is the cause of your confusion.
Lol, amazing what one little word can do huh?
Still, as I mentioned in my previous post, the bigger question still stands. What does a more powerful piece of hardware mean for the gaming industry as well as the developers who I think we all know will want to exploit and harness that power without limitations?
Personally speaking, I don’t see developers “dumbing down” their games due to limitations on an older console when they have access to more power in something the likes of a Scorpio.
I'm slowly becoming more interested in this game the more information is leaked. Seems like it could be a sleeper hit. For some reason I keep getting a dead space feel despite it being a completely different perspective (First person vs 3rd.). Wonder if it's just a superficial vibe due to the main protagonist's suit lol.
I think the conflicting reports about the Scorpio's exclusivity in regards to game development is going to be the deciding factor as to whether this new piece of hardware makes a loud bang when it arrives or a silent whimper.
All reports over the consoles actual specs would indicate to any that Microsoft as well as all the 3rd party developers out there will take advantage of the upgrade in power at some point in the future, regardless of what anyone (no matter their rank or their intentions NOW.) says.
One thing I know we can all agree upon is that developers hate the idea of being limited. History has shown us this over and over again.
